"chalking sidewalk is half the fun..

so todayy across the street from shelby's house they were holding a 'sidewalk chalk contest'. where you took chalk, registered, and drew pictures on the sidewalk. it was fun(: seth was there, and andrea l, and laytin, and taylor s, and lydia.. and all these awesome people that i love to death. i got to draw by seth, lol. originally we were going to draw together, but then i realized i had to register and get my own, and so i didnt.. instead Andrea and Jared and his little brothaa helped me color all over mine. like seriously, its just a bunch of random stuff like stick people and smiley faces and TNT and fireworks and stuff. and seth drew Jim & Bill! stick people, officually, are the best thing since peanut butter. but yeah, it was fun. we just huung out in the hot sticky weather, walked around, talked about food, laughed alot, laughed some more, talked about stuff.. lol. it was fun fun fun. and now im happy, because i got to see people i lurve, and thats what matters<33

got up, got dressed, watched tv, ate some food, watched more tv, got yelled at a few times, made smoothies, loved the smoothies, changed into my swimsuit, froliced in the sprinkler, made a slip-n-slide out of tarp, didnt work so made one out of pond lining, worked, made weird noises with my head in the water, got yelled at some more, took some pictures, sat in the sun, tanned, came inside soaked, dried off, called hanah, talked for awhile, talked to ryan while on the phone with hannah, talked to ryan after hannah hung up, looked on A Skylit Drive's website while talking to ryan, blow dried my hair, put my TWLOHA bracelett back on, found some cool quotes, started sweating, shut the curtain again, turned the fan back on, wrote stuff down on my whiteboard, talked to heather about going to the movies, talked to ryan about being married to shianna, talked to heather some more about the movies, decided on Ice Age 2 [or The Proposal], talked about how Hang Over was rated R so we couldnt go see that, told ryan i was going to the movies with heather, explained it was not a date, messed with my hair, decided not to straighten my hair, complained about the heat, wondered if i should go make some food, turned off the heater that turned on itself [dumb], read over the lyrics for chelsea smile by BMTH, smiled, sent seth a text message telling him to have fun at the lake, debated whether or not to ask mom to go to the store and buy icecream, realized i need to buy chalk for the sidewalk chalk contest tomorrow, wondered what i was going to draw with seth..

its very warm out again. last night after i posted that entry i went and got my swimsuit on, and my sisters and i like ran through the sprinklers a few times. it was awesome. i took like 134 pictures, haha. but it was fun. i was like soaked within five minutes. but then it got cold, so i came in side.

"its 93 flippin degrees.

okay. so today we went to the gym, it was kinda cold out.. and then we went to the library, i got a 5$ gift card to barns and noble [now i have $10, im working towards $20 so i can get a Beatles cd], then we went to Fredmeyer, so i could get a swimsuit for janelle's pool party on the 4th because i grew out of mine. baha. i got a realllyyy cute two piece. i shall post pictures, sometime soon. but anyway, then we went to winco and i got a sandwhich and Kiwi Strawberry Arizona iced Tea, and i saw Jon H in the office supplies section when i was humming to myself and looking for push pins so i could hang up more posters in my bedroom.. and then when we left, it was like 90 degrees. seriously. and it sucks because we dont have a pool up yet. so im kinda sitting here texting, IM'ing savanna, and sorta just like, being chill. chill like a polar bears toenails. sorta.

but yeah. its really hot out. and i have a headache and im being lazy, and i want to go up to the river but my mom insists we stay home because she doesnt want to go anywhere else. uhm, hello? its almost a hundred degrees outside and you want us to stay in this house all day? what am i supposed to do, watch TV? i just got home from the gym, im not going to sit around and get fat. i want to get out there, break in my new swimsuit, hang out by the water, eat some icecream, do something. because its summer, for goodness sake. i need to be doing something. instead of just SITTING HERE.

"jill williamson

carolynn took me to a writers workshop tonight. Jill Williamson, author of By Darkness Hid, had set it up so people from the community could go and get tips on writing, tips on publishing, and tips on editing poems & stories. it was really really really amazing.

when she picked me up, we drove over to pick up Savanna and Tiffany [two girls i didnt know], and then we drove down to the church the meeting was at. I was like really nervous cause i didnt know what it would be like and i didnt know the girls in the backseat and they seemed tight like shoelaces and i was just like gahh im not going to fit in with these girls! but then Savanna and i got to talking and she's actually really cool. she lives in idaho, and was visiting Tiffany for a few days, and shes really into Melody Carlson & Meg Cabot, which is awesome cause so am i. She likes writing songs, poems, and stories, and she likes sitting around listening to music and painting her nails and stuff. so we got to be really close, and i got her email and her home phone number so when she goes back to idaho we can chattt. and Tiffany was really cool too, she's homeschooled and she has a cellphone so i can text her and we can get together and stuff(: it was nice.

but like when we first got to the meeting it was like a ton of old people, and they all were like stuck up and weird. and then as i looked around i noticed some people. apparently this lady Dawn was there [i freakin grew up with her, she was my awana teacher when i was like three!] and Rachel S's dad, and Matt's dad, and then some other person i knew.. it was cool. and I met Jill! She was soo nice and like, completely open about her struggles and all the stuff she went through while writing and trying to publish By Darkness Hid. It was really super cool. And her husband, Brad, is a youth pastor in OR where they live, so he was really nice to Savanna, Tiffany, and I. Like after the meeting we all hung out and talked about random stuff like where we want to live and where we want to visit and like, glitter, and churches, and food, and man purses, and eyes, and books, and all this random stuff that probably made no sense to the people around us, but made a ton of sense to tiffany, savanna, brad, and i. and then we had to leave :[ which made me sad, cause that meant Savanna and Tiff had to leave too, and i really didnt want to part with them. but we did.. sigh.

it was cool though. i met some pretty amazing people i cant wait to get in touch with again, and now im inspired to write write write! and possibly do NaNoWriMo this november. any suggestions on what i should write?

"the rest of june+all of july+all of august..

im going to be soo busy starting july 1st. july 1st, 9am, is a paintball party for the youthgroup. and thats going to be going on for most of the day unless it gets really hot, july 3rd im going downtown with my buddies and we're going to chalk the roads before the parade, draw pictures and stuff, july 4th is the parade, faiir, and then shelby wants me to come over in the middle of the fair for a party. on the 5th im going to Janelle's for a party, and possibly staying the night until the 6th, and then on the 11th coldplay is coming and i want to see them, on the 12th is my friends wedding, on the 15th is the library's summer games, which goes all day. then in between all that im possibly going to the movies with heather, seth, and then maybe some other people. plus all the other stuff my youthgroup is doing, then youthgroup at seth's church, then writing group, and the gym.

in august from the 7th - 12th is yet another fair, and around that time is territorial days [YAY! MORE FAIRS!!] on the 17th - 21st is CYT. which i seriously cannot wait for its going to be so fantastic. and then finally, the moment ive been waiting for. the moment ive dreamed about typing forever since its actually going to happen and we have a date and a house and a plan.. the 22nd - 28th is our vacation to the beach(: YAYAYAYAY! and then youthgroup, writing group, youthgroup, and the gym.

but seriously.

im making a list on notebook paper, of all the things im doing in july. and its almost full. and then a list of all the stuff im doing in august. its not so full. but it will be. because i need to do alot of things(:

and then im making a neverending grocery list for summer.

"Somtimes you just need to forget the rainy days and smile when the sun comes out

well. church was fun today.

though i didnt really want to get up, for some reason. the warm shower didnt even help. whats wrong with me? D: but anyway. the sun is out, and was out this morning. so its all good.

but church was fun. matt was being a freak. and he wouldnt stop eating. like everytime i looked at him he was shoving something into his mouth. isaiah kept cracking jokes and hitting my legs again. lael just smiled and laughed and kept whispering things to me. sam was making sure i didnt give my phone to matt. laurisa was raising her eyebrows at me and then winking when i did my gangster face. blue would glare at me out of the corner of his eye [skilled much?]. cassidy and kenzi were being.. cassidy and kenzi. and billy wasnt there until ten minutes after church got out. he actually rode his bike with kaylen down the hill from kaylen's house just to give cassidy back her ipod. but yeah. it was fun.

so yup. i need to do something today. but im so bored.

oh yeah, isaiah almost got beat up by a crazy druggie because he threw a flower in the guy's car window.

"the legend of pop has passed.

frankie got me to know first. "OH MY GOD HE DIED." i said, 'who?' and then shelby sent me a text. "michael jackson just died! holy crap!' then my dad texted me 'michael jackson is dead.'

at first i was like okay what prank are people pulling? this is crazy. he couldnt die. he's the most amazing guy ever, he changed the world. he saved africans. the changed the way people dance, sing, think, feel, love. he's the king of pop. he was in the genuis book of world records. he wrote beat it for gods sake. he changed us. he cant be DEAD.

but then my mom's friend looked it up on the internet. and he had a heart attack or something.

im like.. whaa?

but this morning, i woke up, and its all over the radio; all over the news; all over the internet; all over the phones; all over everything. its all anyone can talk about. and im like "oh my god. Michael Jackson is dead. holy crackers. seriously?" so ive been mourning the loss of him. listening to his songs, watching his video tributes, watchiin his music videos. its crazy. he died. he's dead.

and i know he was creepy and he had a carnival in his house and he owned a pet chimp and he liked taking little kids home and he just suddenly turned white for no reason. but seriously; hes dead. and its scary. like.. when is there going to be a michael jackson sighting? whats gonna happen to all the tickets people bought for his upcoming tour?

i need to buy his albums. and a poster. i need to like, listen to him more. because today i realized how really awesome he was. he was fully in this. and he wasnt all violent and mean. he was scary, he had plastic in his body, but seriously? its amazing what can happen, on a normal day.

woke up to the sun shining through the windows again. i finally just stoppped shutting my curtains so i can wake up when teh suncomes up, and start livin the day earlier.

well today was lazy, actually. been pretty calm. talked to seth, hung out at the ballpark with taylor and nick, walked to the store with taylor, talked to nick some more, and stuff like that. now im watching Spy School, and its actually really cute. its like rated PG or like action and brief smoking but dude all thats happenin is that he's like eleven and he's a total 'bad boy'. its funny though. and really cute.

we're having good food for dinner. really good food. and i wish we had icecream cause its kinda warm outside and icecream is good.

i wish i lived in the city. with alot of stuff to do, and i can walk places more, and i can have fun with friends all summer. and i need to go to the beach. right now. yup yup.

"youth groupp.

youthh group was so awesome tonight. i met tons of really cool people, had alot of laughs, ate alot of otterpops, played alotta games.

hmm. i beat up my friend Jared with a pool noodle. and seth and i talked. annnddd i got beat up with pool noodles and had alot a funn(: taha. i cant wait until next weeek. if i dont have writing groupp.. if i have writing group im skippin youth, cause writing group is important to me too, and i really want to be there. it. was. fun.

lol. so yeah. thats pretty much it, dude. but youth group was fun. this is seriously short, because i dont want to explain every little detail anymore. bahahaha...

"enjoyin' lifee.

so today i got up, sun was shinin, but it was like eight in the morning and i didnt really want to get up. so i lied there and watched the rest of New In Town while i texted seth and tried to figure out what i was going to do today.

then my mom finally came in and told me she was gonna take me to get my hair cut, since i did all the laundry and stuff last night, so i was happyyy. cause ive been wanting to do that for awhile now. so i got up and took a shower and got dressed and alll that luvulyy stuff, and so we left, but the lady wouldnt do it until one, and soo.. my mom and i went over to this REALLY amazing teen store next door, and i got a REALLY cooool 60's poster with like the Beatles and MLK Jrl and coca-cola and stuff on it. and it says ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE in big green bold letters. (: and they have all these cool clothes and stickers and posters and stuff there, but i only had like twelve bucks so i couldnt get very much stuff. but i got that poster and i was happy(:

then i got my hair cut, went to the library, and some other places, and now im home.. sitting here watching Drake & Josh, reading Taylor Swift in Lifestory, and waiting for youthgroup.

WHICH IM SO NERVOUS ABOUT! but seriously happy at the same time(: i get to go to youth group.. tehe. its going to be awesome.

"summerr oh nine is gonna be finee.

so heres the dish; i have no idea what i should plan on doing this summer, other then all the things i know im doing.

like should i make a list? cause there are certain people i seriously want to get together with, places i seriously want to go. but i need to make time for these things, i need to fit them into my days. so i can do them before summer is over and i havent done anything. like last year. i met skyler at camp, that was the highlight of my summer. but this summer needs to be completely different. i need to meet people i can talk to, girls that i can tell things to, make cookies with seth, watch movies with sarah and janelle, go to seattle for the day, shop at bookstores and walk around downtown with my closest girlfriends, wear shorts and just walk around the mall. i need to do things that i want to do.

okay i met my cousin today! well, my aunt got married to this guy who has a few children, and one of them came to our fathers day family thing today. his name is stuart, he lives in seattle, he watches whale wars, he has a facebook, he's like into all the things im into, his girlfriend is dropdeadgorgeous and she wants to become a nurse.. he's like, pretty awesome. but he's like, twenty three or something. but he's really nice(: he called me his favorite cousin the moment we met, haha. and he had the COOLEST shirt on ever. good fashion taste. but he wont be around much, which is sad. ]: i want to be able to hang out with him again. he was pretty tiight. other then that,

today was pretty mellow. got up and went to church, hung out with isaiah the whole time. seriously. im not even kidding. i never left his side. even in church when we were getting yelled at by Vick to shut the freak up or we were going to have to go outside, we were stickin together. cause thats what homies do(:

"sweet summertime.

so summertime is almost here. the 30th, right? and i seriously cant wait. sunshine, summer camps, hanging out with friends, beach trips, toes in the sand.. its going to be like heaven.

ive got a ton of stuff planned; CYT [we're planning on doing The Little Mermaid this year!], VBS [helping], im in like three parades, the fairs, youth parties, BBQs, and then in august im leaving for a week to go to the beach with my family and all our relatives and stuff. we rented like a five bedroom four bathroom beach house for like 9 days, its going to be amazing.

i really hope it doesnt rain at all, after the fourth of july. i want it to me a nice sunny, nice weather, not too hot summer, i want to be able to set up the pool, grow out the grass, hang out with friends, eat lots of icecream, wear my big sunglasses and my cut off shorts, and just live my life the way i want to live it; no school, no rain, no worries.

but seriously guys, its almost summer. ALMOST HERE! people come down from places to visit, i get to see people i havent seen in awhile, i get to just.. live.

and i love living my life. ive loved these past few weeks since i got out of school, and i never want them to end.
