My Quivers Full

Jun. 12, 2008 - Froggies

Our babies are growing so fast!!  We had no idea they would morph so quickly.  Here are a couple of shots that are better than the last ones I posted.

This is the one that sprouted his legs first.  Now his tail is shrinking by the hour!!  He likes to spend most of his time perched on the log, but is trying to hide from me in the water.  I've turned into a frog paparazzi ;)

Two of the others have sprouted their legs, and we can see their tails are shrinking slightly.  The other one is just about to sprout his last leg.

This has been so fascinating for us.  The boys are constantly checking on our little guys.  I must say, they're much easier to have than a puppy!!

Haha! I only have two girls, but they'd probably be grossed out by that! I used to bring snakes home in my pockets because we could never find the frogs to catch! It sounds like a really cool school project to do with kids, though.

How fun!!! We are about to get some tadpoles too, so it was fun to see your post! We just went through caterpillars/butterflies, have a turtle, and an antfarm...oh, and 31 chicks growing in our utility room. The kids love having nature close to them and there is so much for them to learn. Hope to see you soon.

Really? By the hour?

Can you help me with this concept? Maybe a morning picture and an evening picture? I'm having trouble imagining them changing quickly. :')
