Joanne Anderson ( Jo ) is a 11 year old and is the youngest in her family. She lives in in Australia ranch called Rocky R Ranch. She loses her temper which gets her in to trouble. Jo has long blond hair which is plaited and has green grey eyes. She often goes out for walks with her horse Ginger in the forests. Usually she gets in trouble for forgetting to do what she is told to do. Also likes riding her horse, and playing with her family and friends. She has one sister that is married but has 3 brothers: One called Thomas, who's 16, David, 14, and two twin brothers: Harry and Harold, age 12

Very nicely done, Bethany. You took your notes about Suzanna and created a complete character sketch about her. I like the word "plaited" to describe her braids. That is not a common word and shows you have good word choices. the gum chewing was an extra "peek" into Suzanna.

Hallo, and thank you for the comment.Your lessons are very interesting! I have read Elsie's Endless Wait, and you did a very good job, but I haven't yet read about Susanna and her horses :) You discribe her nicely, and I can tell in my mind how she looks and likes to do.

Yes, Half Moon Ranch is a great name! I can just see the half moon rising over some hills on S's ranch in Australia. So...have you started the story yet???
