The Simple Woman's Daybook

~ Stop by Peggy's to see all the Daybook entries for this week. ~

*****

Outside My Window ...  The morning has begun.  I got up at 5:30 this morning and already the sun was up and the birds were actively searching for breakfast.

***
I am thinking ... about our upcoming school year and how I don't really know what we are doing yet.  And yet I'm strangely o.kay with this.  Me, the planner, with no plans.  *smile*
***
I am thankful for ... God's grace, mercy and long suffering kindness towards me.  Thank you Father God for your patience and love.
***
From the kitchen ... I need to make out my menu for the week.  I didn't get it done before the weekend and because of this I wasn't able to adequately do my grocery shopping.  I also don't like the four o' clock rush of trying to figure out what is for supper.
***
I am wearing ... Jean capri's and a new deep aqua colored shirt that I got at JC Penny's this weekend.  Barefeet and hair up in a clip.
***
I am creating ... or compiling a box of homeschooling books and rescource material that I want to list on ebay and a new blog.  Maybe.  *smile*
***
I am going ... to make time to be alone with Jesus this afternoon.
***
***
I am hoping ... to see some results from Andrew's gluten free diet soon.  If not, we are going back to basic Feingold.
***
I am hearing ...  the sound of the keyboard clicking away as I type and the birds outside.  It's 6:03 and the rest of the house is still asleep.
***
Around the house ... It is disorderly at the moment and I am feeling a bit unnerved.  I was sorting through more boxes from our move and I have things scattered about.  I can't function in the day to day living, in a mess so I need to get it taken care of before the children wake for the day.  I had wanted to take care of it before bed last night but I was just too tired.
***
One of my favorite things ... Worship (of my King, my Everything)
***
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: A pretty laid back week (finally).  Kindergarten with Andrew Monday through Friday.  Thursday we will do park day and possibly the pool depending on the weather and temps.  I need to schedule dentist appointments for everyone and a hair appointment for my daughter.
***
Here is a picture thought I am sharing ... I know they are around but you just don't see them often and I hope it continues to stay that way.  BTW, my husband did not kill this fox.  It was on the side of the road near our property.  It was hit shortly before he found it and he brought it home for the boys to see it.   I know what your thinking.  Who brings home road kill?!  Apparently my husband.

Hello Theresa....how are you? Glad you will be having a more laid back week this week. I don't think those will exist for us for a while, lol. But that's OK.

Alright, I need to get my booty in gear and get some stuff done around here. I am a bit overwhelmed at the moment, but will try to stick in one area at a time to clean. Lotsa love!
