Here is a little bit of chapter 2:

               Chapter Two


I woke up and opened my eyes. The bright sun flashed through my window and shone in my eyes. I pulled the blanket over my head and rolled over. A few minutes later I got out of bed and walked into the kitchen. My mom was sitting at the table. “Good morning, Jamie,” she said.
       “Hi mom.”
       “I have to tell you something,” my mom said.
       Uh oh, this doesn’t sound good, I thought.
        “ Uh, what is it?” I said, looking worried.
       “Don’t worry, it’s nothing bad,” she said. “ We`re moving.”
        “ MOVING??????????????????????” I yelled. I turned around and ran into my room. I slammed my door and flung myself onto the bed. Different thoughts were rushing through my head. “How could they do this to me?” I thought. I got up and walked to my dresser where my cell phone was laying. I picked it up and dialed Maddie`s number. It rang twice and then a voice said, “Hello?”
      “ Maddie! I have awful news! We’re moving.”
      “You are? That`s awful!” she said.
      “ I know. My mom just told me.”
      “ Where are you moving?” she asked.
      “ I don`t know, I ran away before she told me.”
      “ I can`t believe this,” Maddie said.
       “Me either.”
      “ My mom is calling me, I have to go. Bye Jamie.”
       “Bye Maddie.”
       I shut the phone and threw it back on the dresser. After a few more minutes I opened the door.

Hi everyone! Welcome to my story blog! This is where I will post my stories I have written. I think I will start with posting the first chapter of Jamie, a story about a 10 year old girl. I may post entire chapters at a time or just little bits of chapters.
                       Chapter One


      My name is Jamie Alison Smith. I`m 10 years old and in 5th grade. I go to school at Boston Elementary and I live in Boston, MA. I have 2 friends. Maddie is my best friend. She is also 10 years old and is in all my classes.
Alex has been my friend for 9 years she`s also 10 and in half my classes.
      “Jamie!! Over here!” Alex yelled. She was standing by her locker. I ran over to her.
      “Hey Alex. What`s up?”
      “ Not much. Just cleaning out my locker. I can`t believe it`s finally summer!!”
       “I know. It`s awesome!! Well I have to go. Talk to you later!”
        “ See ya Jamie!!”

        I walked to the bus stop and met Maddie there.
“ Hey Maddie!” I said.
       “ Hey  Jamie!!” she said.
       “Did you get everything out of your locker?” I asked her.
        “ I think so….. Let me check.”
        She unzipped her backpack and looked through it.
       “My cell phone!! I left it in the science room!”
       “Let`s go back,” I said.
  We turned around and ran towards the school. We pushed through the heavy doors raced down the hall to the science room. I turned the knob and pushed. It opened and we ran in. We went to her desk and opened it. Her orange cell phone was laying inside. We cheered and ran back towards the door. When we pushed on the door, it was locked.
        “No!!!!!!” we yelled together.
        “What are we going to do?” she asked.
         “Ummm. Get out your cell phone and call your mom.”
          “Okay.”
           She dialed the number and put the phone on her ear. After a few seconds, a voice said, “Hello.”
          Maddie told her mom the whole story then hung up.
         “She`ll be right over. She just has to run by the preschool and pick up Ellie.”
          Ellie is her four-year-old sister. She always is running around with jelly on her face.
           “Okay, that’s good, “ I said.
            I looked at my watch. It was 3:30 already.
            We sat down on a bench next to the door and waited.
           15 minutes later Maddie`s mom, Mrs. Scott, Ellie, and Mrs. Hatcher, the principal, walked up to the door. Mrs. Hatcher took a key out of her pocket, unlocked the door, said something to Mrs. Scott and walked back to her car.  Mrs. Scott opened the door. We ran over and Maddie said, “Hi Mom.”
           Laughing, I said, “Thanks for rescuing us Mrs. Scott.”
          “ You’re welcome,” she said, smiling.
          We walked out to Maddie`s car and climbed in the back seat.
           We got to my house and they dropped me off.
           “Bye Maddie! Thanks Mrs. Scott! “
           I walked up to the house and opened the door. Mom was waiting there for me. She asked about why I was late and I told her the story. Then I ate some dinner and was off to bed.
