Hard to believe it's been a year ago today since I started this whole blog adventure! I remember my first blogging experience on here. It was a year ago today and I had read my friend Cindy's blog, then decided to give it a try. I'd never even really heard of blogging at all. Now look at what a year has done to me...I'm blogging twice or more a week, building websites, redesigning blogs on Blogger, HSB, and Word Press just for the experience! I'm a TOS reviewer and just spent yesterday typing up a wagon load of reviews for them. I love my blog and the way it looks, I love helping people and bringing out who they feel they are on their blogs with designs and through pictures. My first comment was of course, Cindy and it took me a while to get another comment after that. I had to open two accounts before this one and I think because of the server problems I kept losing them, for some unknown reason...or maybe I was just meant to be NancysNook all along! The first one I had one kingskreations, (thus the original blog date for Jan 14th) then I had the kingskid and now I've had NancysNook since March 20, 2007...hey that's a friends birthday~
I started to do a giveaway but I wasn't sure I had a nice enough gift to give to anyone. Blogboy was my other main commentator for a long time and since his birthday is coming up soon I thought I'd just send him some special card or note in the snail mail...Eric has always been very nice to me and encouraged me along the way when I wanted to give up and quit because I felt like no one was reading my blog. He is the one who made my NancysNook banner in the About Me section. I love it and would love to have another one...I am very grateful to Cindy, Eric and Jill Novak for all the support and encouragement they've shown me during the dry times of my blogging experience. If you need any graphic work done he's the "go to" guy. Eric has just this year started doing Tech Support on HSB, so any problems on HSB I'm sure he can tackle or get someone who can. Thanks to all of you who continue to come and leave me comments of encouragement and endearment.
I'm so thankful for the help you've already given me on my new blog. Glad you did yours first! BTW my sister visited your blog through mine and loved your page. She thought it was beautiful. I think so, too! Love in Christ, Nora
Hello Nancy, Congrats on your one year anniversary!!
The site that I got my webset from is this site, www.graphicgarden.com/files17/eng/freesets.php
There is also a clickable graphic on my blog to the site, under ~Graphic Credits~. So sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
I made a little change with my Friends List. It's on the left side and to open it just click on the word "Friends" and it pops out! Neat, huh! To close it click on it again! Thank you

Seven Steps to Raising Godly Children
Principle - Impart God's word on your children and live in a way that you are their greatest example of what a Christ-abiding parent should be.
Pattern - Teach your children a pattern of prayer; when to pray, how to pray, and why prayer is important.
Persistence - Don't ever give up...teach your children to always have faith and not to give up when things get hard.
Participation - Our children crave our attention! The way our children see us is the way they'll see God in thier lives.
Praise - Encourage children, praise them when they do something right and help them when they have a hard time.
Prayer - Teach your children to pray and then to TRUST God for the outcome.
Priority - Make God the Head and Heart of your home and let them live with God's desire coming first in your lives.
