In the Nook...I just got word that my oldest daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Chris, are going to give me another granddaughter in July! YAY!!! I'm so happy about it. We decided that we'd take some time this week, while Gerald (my hubby) is on Spring Break from school, and drive down to SC to go see them for a few days. We'd love to squeeze in a drive down to the ocean but I don't know about doing that...we'll see what God gives us to do.
I've held off on the giveaway from last week and won't do anything with it until this weekend. Sandy, if you're reading this your comment was probably one of those that got deleted somehow. My blog was all jibberish after I posted on the BFS #15 and I went to fix that post it was completely gone. Praise God that I thought ahead of time and let the Preview window open, so all I had to do was copy everything. I couldn't save the comments though, but I got your name and web address, so never fear it's all here. I'm going to try to find someone to post this week's BFS for me at midnight tomorrow, but if I can't find someone then I'll get it up when I get home on Thursday. I hope you all have a great week and I'll comment to you soon!
My daughter is naming her new little one either Mary Elizabeth or Mary Addison, they'll call her by the middle name, but I wanted to see what everyone on here thinks is the prettiest name. So leave a comment and let me know so I can convince her to use the name Mary Addison~~
How wonderful!!!! What a blessing. I hope you enjoy your mini vacation. As far as the name I like Mary Addison. She could even call her Mary-Addison Elizabeth. And have her go by Mary- Addison.
Again Congrats!!!

Hi Nancy! I'm sorry taking so long getting over here. I've been down with the flu for a while. I just wanted to say thank you so much for being my secret sister! ((hugs)) I was very blessed by your notes and gifts.
And congratulations on you new grandbaby to be!
I have to say, being that I'm not a traditionalist - Mary Addison is my choice - but in that same vein - the new tradition is to find out the sex of the baby beforehand.. and when I'm asked what I'm having, people are always dumbfounded that I won't know who's in there.. until that someone is OUT!
That someone will be either
Matayah (or my hubby prefers Matea) Chavah
or
Elias (E Lie as) Archer
and will come sometime end of July or beginning of August.
How wonderful! Lord bless you, your family, and the little blessing to come! I'm throwing a party and giveaway all week (on my blog). Hope you can stop by when you get back! Have a blessed vacation! Leinani
I made a little change with my Friends List. It's on the left side and to open it just click on the word "Friends" and it pops out! Neat, huh! To close it click on it again! Thank you

Seven Steps to Raising Godly Children
Principle - Impart God's word on your children and live in a way that you are their greatest example of what a Christ-abiding parent should be.
Pattern - Teach your children a pattern of prayer; when to pray, how to pray, and why prayer is important.
Persistence - Don't ever give up...teach your children to always have faith and not to give up when things get hard.
Participation - Our children crave our attention! The way our children see us is the way they'll see God in thier lives.
Praise - Encourage children, praise them when they do something right and help them when they have a hard time.
Prayer - Teach your children to pray and then to TRUST God for the outcome.
Priority - Make God the Head and Heart of your home and let them live with God's desire coming first in your lives.
