In the Nook...I have designed about 30-40 blogs and websites and I've always had a hard time finding a good color wheel that integrates my Firefox browser and IE....how many of you knew that colors you use on your sites can change depending on the browser you have...I've used this program to design almost all of the sites I've worked on. I really love this program because of it's 3-D capabilities...I can actually get three of four different colors from one block of testing. Color Wheel Pro - a program that allows you to see color theory in action: you can create harmonious color schemes and preview them on real-world examples. - a unique software program that allows you to see color theory in action. With Color Wheel Pro, you can create harmonious color schemes and preview them on real-world examples. I found out the other day that if I add their link to my site, permanently, then I could get the program for FREE!!! This would be great because I would have to pay the $40 price for it. The other requirement is that my site would show up on a popular search engine...which I'm sure it does because I get tons of you ladies that visit me via Searches. I pray this works and I can acquire the program for free. I'll let you know what happens with it.
Nancy - about designing blogs. What setting is your monitor at? When I went to Pat's page tonight, I love the colour combinations, but what I don't like is that her layout is wider than my screen. This is one of the reasons why I've limited my photo size to 500px wide, because I'm hoping most people will be able to see my whole blog without having to use the bottom bar to scroll over.
Have you ever been to bubbiebobbie's blog, if I go to the main blog, she's got a big map up top - which is a place holder to make her blog posts nice and wide, but if you go directly to the post - as happens when I'm clicking over from my rss feeder.. her blog post is only about 3 words wide, and her side bar takes up nearly the whole page. Hard to read her posts this way. - I read from Firefox by the way..
I made a little change with my Friends List. It's on the left side and to open it just click on the word "Friends" and it pops out! Neat, huh! To close it click on it again! Thank you

Seven Steps to Raising Godly Children
Principle - Impart God's word on your children and live in a way that you are their greatest example of what a Christ-abiding parent should be.
Pattern - Teach your children a pattern of prayer; when to pray, how to pray, and why prayer is important.
Persistence - Don't ever give up...teach your children to always have faith and not to give up when things get hard.
Participation - Our children crave our attention! The way our children see us is the way they'll see God in thier lives.
Praise - Encourage children, praise them when they do something right and help them when they have a hard time.
Prayer - Teach your children to pray and then to TRUST God for the outcome.
Priority - Make God the Head and Heart of your home and let them live with God's desire coming first in your lives.
