Just a quick update on my daughter's condition and then I'll do my post on my husband. My daughter seems to be eating better and she is still drinking lots of water. She slept through the night last night for about 6 hours and then this afternoon she slept for 5 hours. She got up and we sat on the swing outside and cooked hot dogs over a fire afterwards we had roasted marshmallows! She had some beef stew that was leftover from yesterday when she first woke up and about 7-8 we had the hot dogs. She seems to still be a little disoriented and some anxiety, but compared to what she was going through earlier in the week she's almost back to her old self! It was so nice to see and hear her laughing again tonight and her friend came over and stayed with us for the cookout and they joked around somewhat. It was a very nice evening and I can only praise God and all the prayers from everyone for helping us to get through the worst of this. Now, I have another request for prayer. A dear and close friend of our family's son got hurt tonight. He's 3 years old and was playing in the barn while his daddy was working on treating some Alfalfa Hay when one of the bales of hay fell on his back. He was stooped down with his back facing upward and was playing in the dirt. He was complaining of his neck hurting him but not his back. I've tried to call to find out how he's doing but cannot get an answer. I'm praying that this will be nothing more than just soreness and nothing major comes from it. This family has suffered so much in the last 2 years.
Now, on to tell about my hubby! I cannot say enough about just how wonderful my hubby is. The other day he was building new steps onto the deck since we had taken the old ones out, well, when he saw me twist my ankle going down them, because they were too steep, he decided today that he was going to take them apart and rebuild them for me. Now, they're much easier to get up and down on and not steep at all. That's one of the million things that I love so much about him, he's very detail-oriented and notices when something that isn't working out needs to be redone. He rarely complains to me or anyone about anything and I do mean anything! I'll be back tomorrow to write more. Have a nice night and a wonderful Lord's day!
that your daughter is doing so much better! I had a reaction to prednisone a couple of months back that was extremely painful. I pray for her continued recovery!
WOW........aren't we so blessed with such wonderful husbands!! You will have to post some pics of the deck when it is all finished!
I made a little change with my Friends List. It's on the left side and to open it just click on the word "Friends" and it pops out! Neat, huh! To close it click on it again! Thank you

Seven Steps to Raising Godly Children
Principle - Impart God's word on your children and live in a way that you are their greatest example of what a Christ-abiding parent should be.
Pattern - Teach your children a pattern of prayer; when to pray, how to pray, and why prayer is important.
Persistence - Don't ever give up...teach your children to always have faith and not to give up when things get hard.
Participation - Our children crave our attention! The way our children see us is the way they'll see God in thier lives.
Praise - Encourage children, praise them when they do something right and help them when they have a hard time.
Prayer - Teach your children to pray and then to TRUST God for the outcome.
Priority - Make God the Head and Heart of your home and let them live with God's desire coming first in your lives.
