Hello everyone! After you read this entry, could you pretty please read the one below this? Thanks! ;P
Yesterday was really busy, and fun! First off, Mom and I went to Aldi (A grocery store) together, and I got a vanilla latte. =D
Then, my sisters, my Dad and I went to see the movie Up. It was really cute, and there were quite a few funny parts in it(especially the dogs, they were the best!), but some of it was really sad too. But all in all, it was a great movie, I enjoyed it a lot.
Here comes the best part of yesterday....Dad made a potato gun!!!!!!! It was ssssooooo fun! I got to shoot a lot of them, and they either went over the creek or became mashed potatos. It was the best! Emma and Mom didn't want to shoot it, so only Hailey, Dad, and I did. The only drawback was it was really. loud. So, we had to wear earplugs, and they never stayed in my ears. Still, it was loads of fun!
Today, we're just staying at home. Only Dad is at church today. The reasons the rest of us aren't at church are because 1) There is a guest speaker at the church we are going to, and the sermon is a lot earlier than normal. 2) Emma is sick, Hailey has a cold, and, most likely, I'm on the verge of becoming sick. So, yah. That's it.
Oh, I just want to share something I learned in Sunday School a week ago. We were talking about how Jesus saved us by dying on the cross when he had done no sin, and didn't deserve to die. Well, we were going over a verse, and I can't remember where it was from, but it started out, "For the wages of sin is death..." I always thought it meant if you sin, you die. But the teacher told me it meant something else. It meant if you have sinned, you deserve to be separated from God. Wow, that's the worst thing ever. To be separated from God. That's why Jesus came, so that we didn't have to be separated from Him. But, how can we get what we don't deserve without someone else taking what we do deserve? We can't. So, that's why God left Jesus at one point while He was being crucified. I don't remember where this verse was from either, but in it, Jesus said, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" I never, never, understood why God left Him then, until that lesson. Now it's all clear. Okay, I just thought I'd share that.
Could you still keep praying for me? I'm still struggling with my thoughts, but I'm trusting that God knows what I'm going though, and He will lead me in the right path, if I trust him to lead me that way.
Okay, don't forget to read the entry below!
Here's the SILLY SONG!!!!!
God Bless,
