Hi everyone!  In Sunday school, we made cards to send to the family they have serving in China. We had tons of fun doing it. My church had a Thanksgiving fellowship. I helped serve the food to everyone. (By the way, dipping mashed potatoes for 30 minutes really builds the muscles in your hand ;-P. It also gave me a blister. Ow.) I enjoyed serving, especially because they invited some homeless people to join. After I finished up, I got myself a plate and sat in the corner with my friends. We had a really fun time talking about FASA and singing Annie Moses Band songs and "Early One Morning".

Tomorrow my sisters and I are going to see our friends, and on Tuesday, we are going to see a family we haven't seen in 3 years! I really miss them, and I can't wait to see them again after so long!

Before you leave this entry, I have a just for fun poll for ya'll to do.

    God Bless You,

    Taylor

Hey ya'll! What's new? I have alot of news just in the last few days.

To start off, we have no more pet rats, they have a new home. We just couldn't keep them anymore. I'm not sad or happy, very indifferent.

Don't play with fire, kids. Yesterday my family and I were working in the backyard, and Dad lit a fire on the burn pile. And, me and Emma, being the girls we are, had a fun time setting sticks on fire and messing around with it. Well, Emma just took a stick out of the fire and poked me in the back of the neck with it! It was not nice, to say the least, but I was too surprised to feel as much pain as I should have. Apparently it looks really bad, but I wouldn't know, because I can't see the back of my neck.

My dad took my sisters and I to an Annie Moses Band concert tonight, and our friends were there too! Oh, it was SO fun, I had a great time, and there were a few other friends from FASA there too. They let J___ sing his song with them. *melts* After the concert, Jeremiah (the youngest of the group), my sisters, friends, and I went outside and played tag. Afterwards, we just talked alot about FASA, had some "fist" fights, other things. It was so great, I love it when we are able to see them!

    God Bless You,

     Taylor

    Busier Than I Thought.

    Written in Happenings

Finally, I'm making a real entry. First off, last Sunday I worked in the nursery at our church. Preschoolers are alot of work, but it was fun, I enjoyed it.

Yesterday my sisters and I played our instruments at a church for some special dinner they were having. Emma and Hailey did great. I did....eh.

Next Sunday we're going to an Annie Moses Band concert! Yipee! I do believe that Hailey is going to confront Jeremiah about him "kidnapping" the baby she was holding at FASA. And she's probably going to confront Ben about what Starbucks drink it was that he was carrying, since she has a Starbucks gift card now. *Winks at Hailey*

I'm sick. Not majorly sick, but still sick, I have a sore throat and my ears kind of hurt. =/ Well, such is life.

Hailey and I got Emma Seasons 3 and 4 of I Love Lucy for an early birthday present. We've already watched all of Seasons 1 and 2, and we're rushing through Season 3 to get to 4, when they're off to Hollywood!

Mom gave us the day off in school today. Thanks Mom!

Emma won first place in a flute contest she was in, yay for Emma! *Confetti*

That's all I have to say for now, other than Christmas is taking to long to get here.

    God Bless You,

     Taylor

Are my sisters and I seriously doing this? Are we really typing up the whole script to The Lord of the Rings? We must be crazy or something. It takes a cowboy (me), and evil dentist (Hailey), and a queen (Emma). I'm sure others have done it, but, really, are we out of our minds?

Hello my good friends! I hope God has blessed you in many ways this week! I have had a wonderful week myself.

It has been fall break in our house, a very nice one too. Though, I've been rather lazy, doing absolutely nothing. No reading, other than my Bible, no writing, other than one sentence. But hey, everyone needs a few do-nothing days everyonce in a while. Watching Lord of the Rings, I Love Lucy, and Bonanza, playing board games, and playing Wallace and Gromit video games.

We went to the State Fair today! It was so very fun, I rode on alot of rides, and now I am really tired. *slumps back in her uncomfy chair and clutches her chai tea, thinking of what to say next* *Accidentally spills some tea on herself, and runs to get a towel* *Comes back*

On Tuesday, my family and I went to a man's house, and he set up his whole backyard to look like an old western town. Full scale! He's even had a movie filmed there! This man has acted in quite a few old west movies and TV shows, including Bonanza *eep!*. He even gave me his autograph. =D Here are some pictures...

How Many Hours in the Car Does it Take Until Taylor Looses Her Marbles?

    Written in Happenings

Hello everyone, I'm back! The trip was so awesome, I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed it! You see pictures of Niagara Falls, and think, well, it's just a waterfall, but wow, it's just so mind blowing! We went on the boat to go under the falls, and oh my word, the view was just spectacular! I loved it, this was probably one of my most favorite trips.

The car ride there and back was....long. Very long. All we really did was watch I Love Lucy and Bonanza. Do you know what that can do to your brain? For 12 hours in a row? Well, you know you're going nuts, and you know you're homeschooled when, on the way back, while watching Bonanza, you start tweaking the episode you are watching, and make it into something completely different. Changing it to have iPhones, Lassie, poisoned ice cream, Arkansas, yah. It's nice. You also know if you're homeschooled when you and your sister desides to turn all of it into a play, and name of some of the characters are Jakum and Arkansas Pete. Scared yet?

I'd give you a sumary, but it's rather complex. Let's just say, Pa gets an iPhone, Adam borrows it, it gets stolen alot, they go to Arkansas to have a trial, a bunch of shooting, a bunch of dead and passed out people, and it all works out in the end. And that, my friends, is how I know I am homeschooled. ;-P

    Blessings,

     Taylor

    Written in Happenings

Well, this is my last day on HSB until Monday. Because tomorrow, at around 5:00 AM, my family and I are off to Niagara Falls! How exciting! I do have a little bit of a cold, but that is not going to stop me from going.

Mom got me and Hailey a book called "Writing Magic". It was written by the same person who wrote "Ella Enchanted". It's about creative writing, and how to write well. I can't wait to get into it!

My "Best of Bonanza" DVD came, yay!

For Hailey's birthday, our friends came over. We had lots of fun singing and dancing, watching a little bit of "Rear Window", swinging on the tree swing, eating Dippin' Dots, alot of fun! My present to Hailey STILL hasn't come yet, ugh! It had better come today, or else Hailey won't get it until...at least Sunday.

Right now my sisters and I are singing Silly Songs. =D

Well, I must go my friends, so long!

    Blessings,

     Taylor

By the way, no song of the entry today, I'll just post this video.

    FASA 2009

    Written in Happenings

Okay, here are some parts of my journal entries while I was in Tennessee to give you an idea of how it went...

(I'll insert myself for clarity in red, and make boy's first initial in blue, and girl's in pink.)

    7/9/09

    Dear Journal,

We're here in TN! The car ride was really great, Emma, Jessica, and I were in one car, and the other 4 were in the other. (My family and best friend's family were traveling together) In our car, the two main things we were doing were watching The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and talking. When we passed through the mountains, it was amazing, I had to stare out the window. At one point, we were in the clouds!

Now we are in the dorm rooms. (The camp was taking place on a college campus.) They are...very dirty, but we've wiped almost all of it down, so it's SORT OF ok. Tonight is the AMB concert! (The Annie Moses Band were televising a concert, and we went to see it.)

    7/10/09

    Dear Journal,

I have had SO much fun today! Well, for starters, we met two of our Homeschool Blogger friends (writer4him and fiddler4him), it was really neat, they are so nice! After the lunch/orientation, I was going to do the drama track. I was rather nervous at first, but I eventually got over it. The teacher is really great, and I like the plans she has for us. I'm really tired, so I'll write tomorrow.

    7/11/09

    Dear Journal,

Another good day! In drama, we did mostly improvization(sp?). The first thing we did was pair up in twos. Then, the teacher gave us a general idea for a skit, and we had to develop it. She gave me and the girl I was working with an idea about a rich lady and a maid, and the maid had a problem. The first time around, I was the maid, who was a princess in hiding, and the other girl was the lady. My character was sort of a normal person, and I am NOT good at acting normal people, so I flopped big time.

But the second time around, we had to switch characters, and do a different plot(with the same general idea though). This time, the maid was a spy, and the lady was counterfuting(and the maid got shot, MUAHAHAHAHA!) Well, the lady was very overdone, and I am good at crazy overdone characters, so I did MUCH better!

Then, we practised saying the same lines with different inflections. After that, we had to pretend as though we were selling something(I had to do a Stainless Steel Magic Cleaner thingy). Then, we went over and choose the commercials we would do for the performance (At the end of the week, each track would give a smaller performance than the big one at the very end, and in the drama, everyone would have a commercial and a monolouge to do.).

The last thing we did was "won" and "Oscar", and had to say an acceptance speech.

    7/12/09

    Dear Journal,

Boy, this was a fun but tiring day. First, for the Sunday sermon, a man came out predending to be George Macdonald and gave one of Macdonald's sermons, it was great!

Then we had lunch and went to our classes. I didn't do much in drama, just went over some theatrical terms and reviewed the commercials we were given. After dinner, we played tag with J and O.

Then, a man organized a time for everyone at the camp to play all sorts of games! We played so many fun things! I blacked out for 1/2 a second on one game though, but it wasn't that bad.

    7/13/09

    Dear Journal,

Hectic, but fun day! I listened to the kids doing Pennywhistle Park(the younger devision of campers, the ones who were age 3-10) kids sing. Afterwards, I went to drama and we reviewed the commercials. I didn't have a long lunch, because the cafeteria was FULL of soccer players!

When I went back to drama we all got our monolouges! I got a monolouge from the movie "All About Eve".

After that, some boys, my friends, sisters, and I were playing Sardines in the lobby of the building. When Hailey, L, and N were hiding, L made a little noise. Hearing the noise, J and another boy came running. They ran into each other and the boy hit a corner and got a BIG gash in his cheek. It was bleeding badly, but no stitches were needed.

When we went to dinner soon after, we didn't have much of an appitite, so we blamed J for that. We played games tonight again.

    7/16/09

    Dear Journal,

Dadzy's (my dad) here! Yay! Pennywhistle Park is tomorrow, the String's performance on Saturday, the Drama and Piano on Sunday, along with the Musical Theatre Arts and Jazz Band. My monolouge is fine, I need to work on hand jestures though. I REALLY wish I had a longer monolouge though. The drama teacher gave each of us two duo skits to do, I enjoyed doing them. I NEED to work on my posture, it is atrotious.(sp?)

    7/17/09

    Dear Journal,

I went to see the Pennywhistle Park performance, it was the cutest thing! V did great!

    7/18/09

    Dear Journal,

Busy day! After devotions, all the drama peoples did their rehersal, and it went very well! After lunch, I listened to Jessica's choir practice. Then, I went to watch Pennywhistle Park again. When they were telling the Easter story, the fire alarm went off! There was no fire, but it was startling. Mrs. Robin (who is part of the Annie Moses Band) said the fire alarm went off on just that part in the rehersal, and on the first performance, at just that part, the mics weren't working! L said it was as though Satan didn't want anyone to here the Good News! After Pennywhistle Park, I went to the other building to see the Strings' performance, it was great fun to watch!

    7/19/09

    Dear Journal,

What a fun day! Mrs. Robin did a great sermon. After lunch, I went to the theatre for an other rehersal. The performance went wonderfully, I don't think I could have done any better, and the pianos and Peanuts' skits were really good.

Then, a few hours later, the jazz band, singers, and dancers did their performance, lots of fun! A little while after it was over, the floor was cleared off and we were taught how to swing dance, it was alot of fun!

    7/20/09

    Dear Journal,

Today was very good again! After re-orientation, Annie told me to go to choir, because drama wouldn't meet today. Choir went very well, I think I picked up the songs rather quickly. We went to the dorm for lunch today, and will be for the rest of the time we're here. After that was more choir. After our Taco Bell dinner, we played in the courtyard. For an hour or so, we watched National Treasure.

    7/21/09

    Dear Journal,

Alot more things are going on now! Drama is back on! When we went back to the dorm, we were out in the courtyard with some boys and one boy kicked a ball onto the roof! We finished up the first National Treasure, and then started watching the second one.

    7/22/09

    Dear Journal,

Good day today! I got a narration in drama about some gypsy guy named Django Reinhardt, and even though it isn't a very fun peice, it is what I was given, and I will do it to the best of my ability, because God gave me a gift, and I want to use it to show everyone that I love Him, and that He is so great and awesome! Choir went fine, but I don't know THAT many words or notes!

    7/23/09

    Dear Journal,

I got alot of signatures on my FASA t-shirt today, and DADZY'S HERE AGAIN!!!

    7/24/09

    Dear Journal,

We rehersed for the final performance for a while. It went well, but backstage is SO loud, and it shouldn't be.

    7/25/09

    Dear Journal,

Good Good day! We had the first recital, it went wonderfully, I said my narration as good as I could get it! Let's just see how the one that is going to be filmed will go.

    7/26/09

    Dear Journal,

This is probably one of the most bitter-sweet days of my life. We had the last performance today. This morning, Hailey lost her FASA t-shirt. I looked in my bag, and THOUGHT it wasn't there. Well, later, I needed a signature, so I ran to get my shirt from my bag, and grabbed Hailey's!

The first time I did my narration, I. stunk. alot. I was tearing backstage, I felt like I didn't do it for God. Well, at the end, someone was hiccuping, so we had to re-film the Celtic part through Limehouse Blues, the song right after my narration! God was looking out for me, that is the greatest miracle I could have wished for! I was so excited, I did it for God, and whacked that narration out of the park!

The goodbye's from everyone were SO sad, I'll miss everyone and every place!

So, there you have it, my trip to Nashville!

    Blessings,

     Taylor

I Can't Think of a Title, How Unusual.

    Written in Happenings

Hello everyone! Well, I should be saying goodbye, because I won't be back on HSB for three weeks starting Thursday. For those of you who don't know, my sisters, my mom, my friends, their mom, and I are all going to Nashville, Tennessee for a music camp! I won't have any time to get on the computer(the only computer I would have access to anyway is mom's laptop) because I will be extremely busy.

If any of ya'll want to know the specifics of this camp, it is called the Fine Arts Summer Academy with the Annie Moses Band. Click on this link to learn more about it. http://anniemosesband.com/finearts

So, starting Thursday, I will not be doing anything on HSB, PMing, commenting, and so forth. But please, that does not mean do not PM or comment while I am away, when I get back I will try to reply to every PM and comment left. I'll be online tomorrow and maybe Wednesday, but do not expect me to do ANYTHING after then. Well, bye then!

    Blessings,

     Taylor

    Untitled. Hm, Interesting.

    Written in Happenings

Hello ya'll, how've ya been? I'm sorry I haven't been updating or responding to...anything(comments, PMs). Alot of things have popped up that I have just needed to reflect and think on. God has been doing some strange things. *laughs*

Well, on Tuesday, Dad took my sisters and I to a really neat path that he and Hailey had found before. It was magical, there were only a few houses you could see, and those were only in a few places. At one spot, there was a big spot of grass with trees on one side and a lake on the other. Then, there were quite a few paths you could take, one of them lead to a swampy-type-something or other. There were some that lead you into a forest, and then others that lead you into LONG grass. I saw two deer in the grass!

After that, we hoped into the car, and stopped at to places off of the side of the road to get some blackberries! Some of them tasted good, some of them didn't. I didn't really enjoy getting pricked by the thorns though. =/

Oh, on Monday, I MADE SNICKETDOODLES!!!!!! They are so good, thank you so much for the recipe Laura!!

Yesterday, my friends, my sisters and I went to the pool again, we had so much fun playing our game that we play all the time!

Today is one week until I leave for Nashville! I am so excited, I'll miss talking to ya'll, and blogging, but do not fret, I shall only be gone for two and a half weeks.

Saturday morning, my friends, my family and I are going to pick blueberries!! And later that day (July 4th) we are going to our grandparent's house, along with their friends and our cousins, and eating dinner. And then there will be FIREWORKS!!! YAY!!!

Well, that's all for now, I might post once more before I go.

    Praising Him in the storms,

    Taylor

Hello everyone! After you read this entry, could you pretty please read the one below this? Thanks! ;P

Yesterday was really busy, and fun! First off, Mom and I went to Aldi (A grocery store) together, and I got a vanilla latte. =D

Then, my sisters, my Dad and I went to see the movie Up. It was really cute, and there were quite a few funny parts in it(especially the dogs, they were the best!), but some of it was really sad too. But all in all, it was a great movie, I enjoyed it a lot.

Here comes the best part of yesterday....Dad made a potato gun!!!!!!! It was ssssooooo fun! I got to shoot a lot of them, and they either went over the creek or became mashed potatos. It was the best! Emma and Mom didn't want to shoot it, so only Hailey, Dad, and I did. The only drawback was it was really. loud. So, we had to wear earplugs, and they never stayed in my ears. Still, it was loads of fun!

Today, we're just staying at home. Only Dad is at church today. The reasons the rest of us aren't at church are because 1) There is a guest speaker at the church we are going to, and the sermon is a lot earlier than normal. 2) Emma is sick, Hailey has a cold, and, most likely, I'm on the verge of becoming sick. So, yah. That's it.

Oh, I just want to share something I learned in Sunday School a week ago. We were talking about how Jesus saved us by dying on the cross when he had done no sin, and didn't deserve to die. Well, we were going over a verse, and I can't remember where it was from, but it started out, "For the wages of sin is death..." I always thought it meant if you sin, you die. But the teacher told me it meant something else. It meant if you have sinned, you deserve to be separated from God. Wow, that's the worst thing ever. To be separated from God. That's why Jesus came, so that we didn't have to be separated from Him. But, how can we get what we don't deserve without someone else taking what we do deserve? We can't. So, that's why God left Jesus at one point while He was being crucified. I don't remember where this verse was from either, but in it, Jesus said, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" I never, never, understood why God left Him then, until that lesson. Now it's all clear. Okay, I just thought I'd share that.

Could you still keep praying for me? I'm still struggling with my thoughts, but I'm trusting that God knows what I'm going though, and He will lead me in the right path, if I trust him to lead me that way.

Okay, don't forget to read the entry below!

    Here's the SILLY SONG!!!!!

    God Bless,

     Taylor

    Updatin' Because I Must Update

    Written in Happenings

Hello everyone! Well, like the title says, I am updating because I must update. Why must I update, might you ask? Well, the answer is plain and simple, I must update because I feel like it. So, there you go, hope that answered your question.

Dad had his graduation party on Thursday, and I had so much fun! My friends were there, and we spent most of the time goofing off, playing games, and acting out Bleak House. I think we were all white punch drunken. If you want to know what white punch is, I'll tell you.

You get any pitcher you have.

Pour 1 1/2 cups of white grape juice, 1 1/2 cups of apple juice, and pour in Sprite until the pitcher is full. I suppose if it is a small pitcher, then shrink the measurments a little.

I have recieved a few awards lately, and please do not be angry if I do not remember them all, but I'll try my best to.

    Written in Happenings

Hiho peoples! Hm...let's see....oh, the air show. It was awesome! I had such a good time, but it was scary sometimes when the plane was going straight down, I kept thinking it was going to crash! Not only were the airplanes flown, but they had some planes on the ground that you could look at, and some of them you could go inside in.

    Written in Happenings

I AM DONE WITH SCHOOL!!!!!!! SUMMER IS HERE FOR ME!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!

Okay, I'm done yelling. Today, Hailey, my dad and I are going to an air show! I'm really going to enjoy it, I think. Emma said she didn't want to go, so that's why she isn't, and Mom is busy, and she doesn't really enjoy that kind of thing.

Sorry these posts lately are so short. Oh, I got a writing blog now, look for it on my profile.

I'm posting another video, this is one of my favorite Silly Songs!

    Okay, that's all!
