This blog is all about Taylor. What she likes and doesn't like, what's going on in her life, her thoughts, ramblings, which include all sorts of various topics. A few of these topics are Bonanza, Hobbits, Boat, Chocolate, etc. Come and join in the fun!
First off, on Tuesday, we visited some friends who live two hours away, whom we haven't seen in 2 whole years! The mom has had 8 children in total, though one of them went to be with God just a few hours after he was born. I had a very good time with them, we played all sorts of games, and had a great time. Their ages go like this... 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, (the one who died would be 2), and 6 months. It was really great to see them again.
For school, I had to watch a DVD about Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. It was so so wonderfully done, I enjoyed it alot. But it was so very sad when Prince Albert died, I cried!
I've finished reading Les Miserables. I really liked it, though some of the ideas about reality are wrong in it, it was a very good, well-written book. And Marius is so cool. ;-)
Emma had her flute recital thingy, she did a really really great job! *applauds*
Christmas music is playing on the radio now!!! =D
I have FINALLY started writing a story. *gasp*
Here is a tag I took from missirocks...
List twelve fictional characters that you love from any books, movies, etc., and then answer the following questions.
1. Adam Cartwright (from Bonanza)
2. Cosette (from Les Miserables)
3. Joe Cartwright (from Bonanza)
4. Legolas (from Lord of the Rings)
5. Lucy Ricardo (from I Love Lucy)
6. Puddleglum (from The Silver Chair)
7. Ada Clare (from Bleak House)
8. Mr. Jarndyce (from Bleak House)
9. Elwood P. Dowd (from Harvey)
10. Marius Pontmercy (from Les Misrables)
11. Sir Henry Baskerville (from The Hound of the Baskervilles)
12. Jane Bennet (from Pride and Prejudice)
*******************************************
1. Who would make a better college prof, 6(Puddleglum) or 11(Sir Henry)? Probably Sir Henry.
2. 12 (Jane) sends 8 (Mr. Jarndyce) out on a mission. What is it? Does it succeed? Oh, my. I don't think Jane would send anyone out on a mission.
3. What is or would be 9's (Elwood) favorite book? Maybe Sense and Sensibility
4. For some reason, 5 (Lucy) is looking for a roommate. Should (s)he share a studio apartment with 9 (Elwood) or 10 (Marius)? Well, she's a girl, so she shouldn't have a roomate who's a man, but I suppose Elwood.
5. 2(Cosette), 7 (Ada), and 12 (Jane) have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss? They'd probably talk about their husbands, and I'm not sure where they'd go.
6. 3 (Joe) challenges 10(Marius) to a duel. What happens? That wouldn't happen, but if it did, Joe would probably not shoot, and then Marius wouldn't shoot either, but Joe might start a fist fight.
7. If 1 (Adam) stole 8's (Mr. Jarndyce) most precious possession, how would she/he get it back? Well, I don't think Mr. Jarndyce has a most precious possession, and I don't think Adam would steal anything, so..that one is kind of..unanswerable.
9. What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 (Legolas) and 1 (Adam) to work together?I'm not so sure what that means. ...They both like shooting things, but Legolas has a bow, and Adam has a gun, I don't really think they could work together that well, they seem alot different.
10. If 7 (Ada) visited you for the weekend, how would you get along? I think I'd get along very well with her, she's very sweet.
11. If you could command 1 (Adam) to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be? Oh boy! =D There's too big of a list for me to answer that.
12. Does anyone on your friends list write or draw 11(Sir Henry)? What?
13. If 2 (Cosette) had to choose sides between 4 (Legolas) and 5 (Lucy), which would it be? Probably Lucy.
14. What might 10 (Marius) shout while charging into battle? probably something like "Viva la republique!"
15. If you chose a song to represent 8 (Mr. Jarndyce), which song would you choose? uhh...no clue.
16. 1(Adam), 6 (Puddleglum), and 12 (Jane) are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it? Jane, probably, because Puddleglum would be all sulky, and Adam would let the lady have it. But what on earth would any of them be doing in a Chinese resturant in the first place?
17. What might be a good pick-up line for 2 (Cosette) to use on 10(Marius)? Well, they both go together, so, "I love you" ;-)
18. What would 5 (Lucy) most likely be arrested for? Oh, I can't even begin to make a list.
19. What is 6's (Puddleglum) secret? Puddleglum has no secrets.
20. If 11 (Sir Henry) and 9 (Elwood) were racing to a destination, who would get there first? I don't know, I'll say Sir Henry.
21. If you had to walk home through a bad neighborhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 (Ada) or 8 (Mr. Jarndyce)? Mr. Jarndyce, certainly!
Hey ya'll. Hailey let me borrow her hat, and so I feel really cool, cause I never wear hats, it's an awesome fedora. Dad got me a mini pen, it's attatched to my pocket. =) Well, not much is going on at this moment, piano lesson and community group for church are tomorrow, and I get to help look after the little kids this week in community group! *loves all the kids in the group* Okay, I really feel like talking about my church.
My church is totally completely awesome. It is really small, but everyone is really friendly to each other, and they make people feel so at home. There are almost no other kids my age, accept for my sisters and best friends. That doesn't matter to me though, I actually like it, because at sunday school the teacher can focus on everyone as an individual instead of it being addressed to a giant group.
I dug up some tags from a few months back and feel like doing them now.
Rules: grab the nearest book. open it to page 56. find the fifth sentence. post the next two to five sentences on your blog along with these instructions. don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book or the intellectual one. pick the CLOSEST!!!!! tag a few other people to do the same.
*doesn't exactally know which book is closest to her, because there are so many books next to her. So, she randomly picks Les Miserables*
"The occasion was this:"
How's that for an interesting senctence? Anyone can take this tag.
Here is another tag I found.

(Frodo takes it to RIVENDELL. Some FRIENDS come with him. They are attacked by black riders a LOT, and it is SCARY.)
Elrond:
Frodo Baggins, if Sauron ever gets this Ring, the world will be destroyed, and evil will reign forever. We must act quickly. Take the Ring to where he lives.

(They almost find the white whale. Then they almost find the white whale. Then they find it.)
Captain Ahab:
I stab at thee. I stab at thee.
(Everybody dies except Ishmael, although this is no surprise, because it was foreshadowed CONTINUALLY from the BEGINNING.)
THE END
How's that? Not much is going on around here, not much at all. And not much will until the state fair. Oh, it's in 15 days! Yay!
Okay, hello people out there! I have some news, and just some things to talk about.
Well, Hailey's birthday is tomorrow!!!! Happy happy Birthday Hailey! She'll be 13. We're having her birthday dinner today. I can't tell you what I got her because I haven't given it to her yet, and I don't want her to know.
Here is some REALLY exciting news. My family and I are going to take a trip to................Niagra Falls! We're leaving on Friday, I am SO happy!
Well, when we were at church, Jessica told me to post about Veggie Tales, so I shall do so. Veggie Tales is just one of the most awesome things ever! I really wish I had some DVDs of it, but I don't. I can only listen to the silly songs on my computer. Larry ish awesome, he rockeths my socks. Alot of the time, I will randomly burst singing Silly Songs. Cool people watch Veggie Tales. Okay Jessica, is that good?
Also, while I was at church, I can't remember if it was Martha or Tallulah that told me to post about this, but one of them told me to post about Bonanza. Well, I don't know if ya'll are tired of me talking about it, but I'll do it some more to please them, and also, I really like to do it. ;)
Bonanza is just SO awesome! SO awesome! Shoot-outs are awesome too. Adam is awesome, he's the best! I was watching Bonanza just this morning, and it was probably my one of my favorite episodes so far! It was about this guy who was killing Indians, and the Indians were after him. Well, all the Cartwrights didn't know about that, so they helped him some. Adam went to get water, and he got SHOT! POOR ADAM! (as you can probably tell, I like Adam the best, he rockeths my socks off too) It was really bad, and they thought he was gonna die, but of course he didn't. Well, everything works out in the end, so you don't really have to know much more. Alright, I hope whoever asked me to post this is happy, cause I am. :)
Hi everyone! I hope ya'll are doing well. I know that I am, for the most part at least.
Well, first off, I'm updating now half because my friend Jessica says she'll sue me if I don't, and half because I just want to, so there you have it.
School is....school. Almost every day I get so stressed that it will take all day to do it, and at always turns out that I finish at 3:00 at the most. So yes Mom, you're right, I don't have to much school.
By the way, I'm just curious, why is it that most girls my age have crushes on celebrities, but I have crushes on characters? Is this natural, because I know that these people don't exist, but, I just feel like marrying them sometimes! Would ya'll like to see the list? Well, even if you don't, you will.

Yesterday, I started my piano lessons again. Let's just say, I was out of practice. Very much so. I couldn't do the easy things, but I could do the hard things, it's very strange.
When community group was over yesterday, some families went home, but a few stayed, because the people who were hosting the group that day were pulling out their telescope so we could see Jupiter! It was amazing, I could see two of it's moons, and some of the stipes on it! It was so great!
Today I got a cream soda and a lemon cookie. Yum!

Rambling Begins: So, what is up people? I don't know. I'm tired and random at the moment. I'm going to be posting some videos soon, but be patient, I'm going to ramble. I'm reading Pride and Prejudice in school right now. I think I'll be reading Frankenstien next. Emma and Hailey and Jessica and I are going to get married to Faramir and Sam. Well, all of us are getting married to Faramir, but I'm getting married to Sam too. I am Sam, Han Solo, Taylsee, Taylee, Snicket, Captain Snicket, the OTHER Captain Snicket, Fitzbill, that's all I can think of. I like my church, it is very good.Do you like olives? So, it's me again! Yup. I just got out of bed about 20 minutes ago. I try to sleep in on Saturdays. But ya'll are probably not interested in that.
I finished The Lord of the Rings Trilogy!!!!!! It was SSSOO good! I went to Borders a two days ago and got "The Silmarillion".

I also got an award from Missirocks...
Thank you so much!
Missirocks had a desccription to go along with the award, and I will continue with it...
"Those who receive this award are of the sweetest nature. They are kind, friendly, funny, loving, eager to share their love for Jesus with others, and brave in their efforts to reflect Him to this darkened world. They are the kind of folks you're blessed to know, even if it's only in the bloggy-sphere."
I finished reeading The Two Towers not to long ago, and now I am reading The Return of the King. I YAWFS Fwodo(Frodo) and Faramir(*sighs dreamily* Faramir) and Legolas cause he's so cool and SAM! SWEET SAM! ESPECIALLY SAM, HE'S THE BEST! AW, SAM!!! Um, sorry. I just like Sam, alot, as you can already tell. I switched my description of my blog, it is the best monologue in the world!
Um, we started ond Wednesday. Not bad, it's light this week, but next week it is going to be a normal week. I'm in 9th grade now, AH! Hard work, here I come! =/ Because I'm in high school(still homeschool though) and am going to have more work to do, I might not be spending as much time on HSB as I did before, but that doesn't mean I'm leaving ya'll, cause I'm not.
I've been in a Lord of the Rings mood for the longest time, ever since I picked up the Two Towers after abandoning it for months. The Helms Deep chapter had really dissapionted me, so I put it down for a long time, but then I picked it up. Aragorn really bores me in the books, he is SO much cooler in the movies. Well, maybe not in the Fellowship book, I need to re-read that one again. The Path of the Dead scene was really boring too. Where I'm at in the Return of the King now, is the Rohirrim have come to Gondor. Yah. I'm sure ya'll don't want to read any more of this.
OH, I'm writing a story about a bad orc who gets in to our world and starts a car chase. HOW COOL IS THAT? I know what you're thinking, and no, I have not had anything with caffine or sugar today. Except for a frozen yougurt. I YAWF frozen yougurt.
Okay, I'm going, but I have a few videos I want to post.
Hey everyone! I'm sorry I haven't really been responding to any of your comments, I've been lazy, but I'll try to be better at responding to them, so ya'll don't think I'm neglecting them, cause I AM reading them.
I'd like to thank iDesign for this great new template, I love it!
I'd also like to thank the HSB Backyard for making me their Featured Blogger of the Month!

I Still Have a Hard Time Thinking of Titles. It Would Be Sad If I Didn't Have a Hard Time, Because Not Thinking of Good Titles Is Just What I Do! Wow, This Is Long!
Okay, so my friends, sisters, and I went to a pool, and we had a great time, I think we stayed there about 4 or 5 hours! But...when you only put sunscreen on your face, and only re-apply once, there are consiquences. Major ones.
Everywhere that wasn't covered by my swimsuit is red. It hurts. Alot. Very. Very. Much. Ow. My shoulders are sore, and my cheeks hurt, and it's all bad. I'm trying not to complain about it in real life, so I will complain about it here. OOOOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! *sighs* I know you don't want to here about that, so I'm done, but it will STILL hurt.
Okay, since I finished reading Bleak House, I've picked up Sense and Sensibility. I've only finished the first chapter so far, so don't rush me people!
It is two weeks exactaly until we leave for FASA!!! WOOHOO!!!! *throws confetti everywhere* I would practice piano today for it, but it HURTS to.
I've recieved two awards! The first one if from Ness...
I've already recieved this award, so I won't award anyone. Thanks Ness!
Hello everyone who find interest in my blog! Long time no entry!
Well, to start off....*thinks of what happened after the last entry*...
For starters, you know(maybe) that my family was looking for a new church for us to go to. Well.....we are members of a new church! It is really great, everyone is a family to each other. I feel so at home there, I have never had an experience with people like that, and I am just so greatful that God has led us there. Thank you everyone who was praying for us!
On Friday, the sunday school teacher from that church, Jessica, an other girl, and I went to get our toenails done, it was the first time for me having a pedicure. I enjoyed it very much. Afterwards, we went to Cold Stone(an ice cream place) and had some ice cream. *wants some more of that ice cream*
I AM SSOO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!! Only a few hours ago, I finished reading Bleak House by Charles Dickens! WWWWWOOOOOOOO HHHHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was such a long book, but undoubtedly (sp?) my favorite! It has earned a place of honor on my bookshelf in between The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings. =) *yawfs her bookshelf*
Okay, I just feel like rambling about my books and bookself right now, so you can skip this part if you don't like to read ramblings. My bookshelf if is not like others, it is more like...um...well, it's over my bed, and actually, it's more like three different shelves. I'd describe them more as office shelves, because my room was originally Dad's office when we first moved to this house. But it has SO much room, and I have over 100 books on it! The top shelf doesn't have any books yet, but I think I will need to start putting books on there soon, because I'm almost out of room on the first two shelves! I'm done now.
Tomorrow, my friends, sisters, and I are going to a pool. I've never been to it before, I don't think, so it will be fun, I haven't been to a pool all summer!
Alright, now to some bloggy type things.
Here is Emma's award for posting my 1,000th comment...
Enjoy Emma!
Okay, I've recieved an award from Laura, it is the sweetest...

My family party was so very good! Here are the things I recieved and who they were from...

I had Smokey Mountain Chicken(which is delicious, I might need to post the recipe sometime), Mashed Potatoes, and of course CAKE!!!!!

From my friends(who are all sisters): Gift card to Target and some earrings

Hannah95 tagged me, here it is...
How old is you dad's oldest brother's oldest child? Um.....uh......I don't know, I've never met whoever it is anyway.
What did you get your oldest brother/sister for his/her birthday? I don't have an older sibling, but the oldest one that I do have I gave them (Hailey) an owl coin bank.
Did you brush your hair this morning? Not in the morning.....but it is brushed, I assure you

Here is one I stole from smiley1.
1)Who is your top favorite LOTR character? Sam, Legolas, and Arwen!
(2)If you could live in Middle Earth, what city would you live in? Either Rivendell or The Shire
(3)If you were Boromir, would you have stood your ground when the orcs attacked you or would you have fled for your life? I'd run, and live to fight another day, unless I couldn't run, or one of my Fellowship buddies were in danger.
(4)If you were given the ring, would you keep it for yourself or destroy it? I don't know.
(5)If you were one of the fellowship, which one would you be? The one I am most like or the one I would want to be? I don't know which one I am most like, so I'd want to be Sam.
(6)Lets say you were Sam Gamgee. When Gandalf caught you listening in to his conversation with Frodo, and asked you to go with him on his journey, and you were informed beforehand that you would be going through Mordor and would most likely be killed.Would you accept his offer and be a true friend or would you refuse it? I would go because I'd be afraid Gandalf would turn me into something "unnatural"
(7)When the Balrog attacked the fellowship in the Mines Of Moria and Gandalf yelled "fly you fools!" if you had the choice, would you have fled, or would you have risked it all, and helped defeat the Balrog? Run, Gandalf knows best!

(9)If you were Treebeard, would you have destroyed Saruman along with Isengard,or just have destroyed Isengard, and left Saruman to starve? I'd destroy both him and Isengard, I would feel bad starving someone, just kill them then and there!
(10)If you were Frodo, and the RingWraiths were after you, would you risk being seen by Sauron, and put on the ring, or would you risk being seen by the RingWraiths and leave the ring in your pocket? Leave it, the Ringwraiths can see you even when you have The Ring on, can't they?
I tag Pip, Syd, Strive17, and anyone else who loves LOTR
