    A Forest Song

    Written in School

Here's a poem in English I did. It's modeled after the poem "A Sea Song" by Allan Cunningham.

    "A Forest Song"

A jumping rabbit and hunting fox,

    A bird that whistles cheer,

And stirs the great and mighty woods,

    And guards the timid deer,

And guards the timid deer, my friends,

    While like the refuge sound,

Ever the aged wood lives and grows,

    Dear forest in the ground.

Please leave a comment and tell me how you like it!

    2. A Day of Pleasure- by Isaac Bashevis Singer

    3. A Christmas Carol- by Charles Dickens

    4. The Hobbit- by J.R.R. Tolkien

    A Crazy Tale

    Written in School
For school I have just read a story called "A Crazy Tale" by G. K. Chesterton. It was really confusing so I needed my mom to read it out loud for me. When she read it it was easier to understand. Basically, it's about a man who was telling about life as if he could remember it when he was a baby. Once I understood it, it got really funny. So, if any of you have that story for your assigned reading list, this is for you so you don't get confused about what he's saying like I did!

    School

    Written in School

I have recently started my 5th year of being homeschooled. I think I am the only person in the universe(besides my sisters) that has already started school! I started on Monday. I'm not upset at all, it's just a little odd to have started so early. Even though I am now in the 8th grade, I still don't FEEL like I am. It will probobly kick in when school starts to REALLY get hard. Right now the hardest day has been the first, because of the new curriculum my mom has started with us. I hope the rest of the year goes as smoothly as it has gone this week.
