but I think it about time for a.........
NARNIAN OF THE MONTH(S)!!
The Narnian of the month for April is Reepicheep!

Talking Mouse
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Narnia
Major character in: Prince Caspian
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Reepicheep, the chief mouse of twelve mice,is the humble servant to Prince Caspian and the most valiant of all the knights in Narnia. He stands three feet tall and wears a red feather behind his ear. In Prince Caspian, Reepicheep helps to win the second battle of Beruna along with his mice followers. During the battle Reepicheep receives many injuries and his twelve loyal friends take him to Lucy and Aslan. Lucy uses her cordial which she received from Father Christmas in LWW to heal all his wounds, save one. As Reepicheep jumps out of the liter that he is being carried on he realizes that he has lost his tail.
"It becomes you very well, small one," said Aslan. All the same, replied Reepicheep, "if anything could be done...perhaps her majesty?" and here he bowed to Lucy. "But what do you want with a tail?" asked Aslan. "Sir," said the mouse, "I can eat and sleep and die for my King without one. But a tail is the honor and glory of a mouse." " I have sometimes wondered, friend," said Aslan, "whether you do not think too much about your honor."
Here Reepicheep tells Aslan that a very small size has been bestowed upon them and if they did not guard their dignity some would allow very unsuitable pleasantries at their expense.
"Why have your followers all drawn their swords?" said Aslan. "May it please your High Majesty," said the second mouse, whose name was Peepiceek, " we are all waiting to cut off our own tails if our Chief must go without his. We will not bear the shame of wearing an honor which is denied to the High Mouse."
This convinced Aslan to allow Lucy to restore Reepicheep's tail but not for the sake of their dignity but for the love between Reepicheep and his followers and the kindness they showed Aslan long ago on the stone table. (It was then that mice began to speak)
In the Voyage of the Dawn Treader Edmund and Lucy and to their disgust their cousin Eustace Clarence Scrubb (who almost deserved his name) found themselves in Narnia in the middle of a ship called the Dawn Treader. To Lucy and Edmund's delight they found two old friends, Caspian, and Reepicheep. After Caspian explains why they are on this voyage, Reepicheep explains why he is on this voyage.
When he was in his cradle, a dryad spoke this verse over him:
“Where sky and water meet,
Where the waves grow sweet,
Doubt not, Reepicheep,
To find all you seek,
There is the utter East.”
Reepicheep doesn't know what this verse means but think it means that he will find Aslan's own country beyond the eastern edge of the sea.
Eustace, who is not at all fond of rodents, especially large ones that talk, is aghast by Reepicheep and professes this out loud. One day as Reepicheep is gazing out to sea, Eustace thinks that it would be funny to swing Reepicheep around by his tail. This of course is not funny whatsoever. Reepicheep gets very angry and challenges Eustace to a duel. (Eustace, of course being a pacifist, refuses) When Eustace is turned into a dragon, despite his beastly attitude towards Reepicheep, he finds that the mouse is one of his closest friends during this time and often found himself listening to the stories that Reepicheep would tell.
At the end of the book, Reepicheep, Lucy, Edmund, and the transformed Eustace, set out in Reepicheep's small boat. As they reach a wall of water, Reepicheep leaves them and goes on alone.
The coracle went more and more quickly and beautifully it rushed up the waves side. For one split second they saw it's shape and Reepicheep's at the very top. Then it vanished, and since that moment no one can truly claim to have seen Reepicheep the mouse. But my belief is that he came safe to Aslan's country and is alive there to this day.

In the new movie, Prince Caspian by Disney and Walden Media, the voice of Reepicheep will be played by Eddie Izzard. To here a sample of his voice click Here
