Lucy's Rust-Red Dress #3
All finished with the skirt!!!! All together we worked on it for about 7 hours, counting shopping for fabric, laying out paterns, cutting, sewing, and looking over pictures of the dress.
The fabric on the over-skirt (red) was very hard to pin and the fabric on the under-skirt (silver/gray) rips easily. But they are great fabrics and were pretty inexpensive.
$21.00 for the over-skirt ( the fabric was on sale!)
$4.00 for the under-skirt ( the back of an old curtain)
$2.00 for the Zipper
Grand total of $27.00!!!
