Jun. 11, 2008 - WHIRL OF EVENTS
The title says it all. Things have been too crazy for words......
Auntie and Co. spent last week with us(never has the Xbox been so used! It should have exploded), the graduation banquet was held, and college has started. College is so awesome - I'm loving it. My class is at 8AM(so I gotta get crackin'!) so Dad drove me over the first day. I was pretty nervous - after all, I've been homeschooled my entire life. So we see the campus then Dad goes......"Well, I guess I'm just gonna drop you off here." Im all, "WHAT?!?! I don't even know where my class is! What am I...." No use. He thinks a girl going on 18 had oughta be able to step on a college campus without her dear daddy. I had different opinions....
I was just as lost as I expected. I knew the general direction in which the class would be held, but other than that.......well, I eventually came across an old Asian guy and he kindly walked with me until I could find myself around. Eventually Mrs. Kelley came around and opened the door and class began.....
I went home relieved. But, I thought to myself, I think I'm gonna love that class. Today I went back. And I loved it;-) One problem - I didn't expect all the homework.....
We're leaving for Bodega on Monday, so just a heads up that henceforth my posts will be few and far between.....I still have all my homework to do and I've got to be in bed in 20 minutes;-) .......Poka, moy drugami!
