Jul. 9, 2007 - Why we don't like Disney characters:
- They have bad attitudes.
- They don't obey their parents (IF they have any parents, usually they do not)
- They do not promote modesty (they destroy it, actually), encouraging a preoccupation with the body and physical beauty, where we prefer to encourage a focus on a sunny disposition and virtues and character.
- They promote romance in young girls, where we prefer to cultivate the relationship with Christ, the family, the parents until the late teen years.
(I don't have time to add more to this list, so I'll leave it as is and hopefully add more later...)
I'm adding another button to my sidebar for Moms for Modesty. I've seen it elsewhere, and have long-time agreed with it, but feel it's something I want to stand on my blog.

Moms for Modesty Mission Statement
- As a Mom for Modesty I believe in common-sense modesty for girls and young women.
- I believe in refraining from sexualizing our girls and young women.
- I believe that it is unwise and unfair to taunt boys and young men by permitting my daughter(s) to dress in an immodest manner.
- I believe that true beauty comes from within and I strive to teach my daughter(s) this truth.
- I will loyally shop at retailers that provide girls’ and young womens clothing that is modest, affordable and stylish.

Hi there,
Thanks for commenting on my last post about the allergies. My friend is going to buy me a mill so I plan to attempt to sprout wheat berries and then grind the wheat (spelt only most likely) and give her that, though I think as long as I sprout the wheat I might be able to do others. Do you have any experience with this? I need to do a lot of research still.
It's great you are expecting your 5th child. I hope God blesses us with another baby sometime in the next year.
Thanks again and God bless,
Psalm40
