Thirteen Things I want to remember when I am a gramma. LOL - I tell my DH all the time, I can't wait to be a gramma. This is our last [planned] pregnancy, and I get the question from people, "Won't you miss the 'baby days'?" No. I have had enough baby days to tide me over, and I will experience them all over again when I am a gramma. I plan to be one of the best gramma's around, and I plan to be a Stay At Home Gramma. (besides, I said this was our last pregnancy, not our last child. We hope to adopt as soon as financially possible). A side note, this list is applicable as MOM, too!!1. PLAY with the kids!2. Be a story-teller.3. Respect and love grandpa (if he's still kickin').4. No whining.5. Know the parents' goals. And support them.6. Don't undermine parental authority.7. Don't undermine homeschooling.8. Don't undermine nutritional guidelines of the parents.9. No Spoiling with material things - spoil with love, attention, listening, etc.10. Play FIRST - When in the company of grandkids and their parents, 'sit and talk' with the parents later. Play with the kids - they will only be little once!11. Don't play mind games with the kids. Say what you mean, mean what you say.12. Let your yes be yes, and your no be no. Be loyal to your word, be dependable.13. PLAY with the kids! (did I already say that? LOL)Links to other Thursday Thirteens!

What a wonderful list....and I agree with all of them.
I have four kids myself. Sometimes, I feel like I had my kids so I can get my grandkids. This list could work excellent for parents as well!
Great TT!
