Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Oct. 27, 2007 - Vaccines

Posted in Day to Day Blog

I didn't want to let this question go unanswered for too much longer!  Here is a brief list of resources on the topic of vaccination.  We have not vaccinated any of our children.  I say, it's an informed decision, and when each child is able to make that decision, he or she can do so (same for circumcision)!

Seriously, though, I began researching vaccinations while in nursing school 10 years ago.  I wrote a paper on the topic and actually convinced my prof that there were more problems with mass vaccination than she had originally thought.  (which, if you know nurses or professors, or worse-yet -- a nursing professor, then you know that's quite an accomplishment, LOL).

Here's the short list:

Click here for an excellent resource on vaccine info, with additional links.  Also great info and articles on healthy living in general.  Written/designed by a well-known chiropractor.

Click here for a great site with tons of info and links, though it doesn't have my complete seal of approval because I haven't been through it all.  Looks good so far, though.

Click here to see the federal governments Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System.  Did you know there was such a thing?  Oh yes, some of our tax dollars go to this fund, which pays money to families of those injured or harmed by vaccines.  Hmmm...I can think of one easy way to cut taxes - get rid of mandatory vaccines!

Click here for information on the link between abortion and vaccines.  Sickening.

Click here for a great book and author, not just about vaccines, but about how to avoid many other medical schemes while bringing up your children.  Google the author's name to find other books and articles by him.  I love this book!

Click here for a listing by state/county for info on exemptions/waivers.  Don't be bullied by your doctor or school board (though hopefully you've read your Bible and are homeschooling!)  EVERY parent has the right to waive any and all vaccines.  Know your rights!

Click here and search for other great articles.  This is not an endorsement of all this magazine stands for - it is liberal in many ways.  But when speaking of medical/research issues, they're pretty dead-on.

Hope that helps, Tess!  (or anyone else).  Post comments or email me, if you have more questions.           ~Lindsay

What a GREAT list of resources! Do you know Dr. Sears has a new book out on vaccines? Just curious about your thoughts~I know he's neither fully for or against, but presents a good balanced view for skeptics. (((((HUGS))))) sandi

Hi Sandy!
I did know about Dr Sears' new book. I haven't read it, though, so didn't include it as I can't give it a personal recommendation. He's usually pretty balanced, but IMHO more medical than Dr Mendehlson.
(((hugs))) back atcha, baby! ;)
