Yeah - when I was asking my 4 yr-old about why people believe in evolution, she said without hesitation, "Because they're stupid. We didn't come from monkeys, God made us."

I just read the above comment about monkeys. I had to laugh because it reminded me of when I was teaching public school, fourth grade, and a student that I was teaching really did believe that we came from monkeys. It made me laugh aloud as I asked her if she had actually seen any monkeys in the zoo change into the form of humans. That would surely be on the news. Nope, she responded (as I could see the wheels moving in her head) and then she laughed. We both laughed together as she had never really though of it like that before. She gave her heart to the Lord that year. I was with her when she did. Anyway, this post really made me laugh. I sure needed that this afternoon. Thanks.
