| I don't often find the time to sit down and read anymore. There always seems to be too much going on and too many distractions. However, I am thrilled that I was able to knock out a book in just a couple of days earlier this week and I enjoyed every bit of it. What did I read? Paula Deen: It Ain't All About The Cookin' . I've adored Paula for years and had the great pleasure to dine at The Lady & Sons several times. We had to good fortune to meet Paula one time at the restaurant and she's a complete sweetheart (not that I had any doubts that she wasn't!). This book was such an eye-opening read. I'd never have imagined her past being quite what it was, but it just goes to show that we've all had many struggles in our lives no matter how perfect things seem on the outside. |
