A few general shots of west Maui from mine and hubby's time living there... 

The first pic is of the west Maui mountains (extinct volcano).  The next pics are further away (beyond Kahana and Napili if you've ever been to Maui).  One of my favorite things to do was take a leisurely drive through all this beautiful land, stop often, and just drink it all in.  Sections of the road (two lane on the majority of the island at the time) were quite winding.  I have a pic of one such section of the road that I'm still trying to locate.  A couple that hubby and I knew (from church plus we went to school with their kids) came out on vacation and we took them on this scenic tour one day ... unfortunately the lady ended up carsick because the road had so many twists and turns.
