Bird brain

I am a bird brain ... heehee!  Seriously, I have birds on the brain.  This Great Backyard Bird Count has been loads of fun for our family this year.  Tomorrow (Monday the 18th) is the last day to participate!  Head on over to the site to find out how to join in the fun if you haven't already.

Good morning :) I really don't know that much about binoculars *grin* The ones that we have for the house are Bushnell's and they are an awesome brand. My husband buys them for his tug boat and we get the ones they no longer use. They are a bit pricey but well worth it. The ones K got for his birthday are just a really cheap pair that do the trick but they aren't adjustable. The only thing that I find that is super important for me is that they are adjustable so that when you look at things different distances away you can turn the knob and focus them in on what you are viewing more clearly and this is great for multiple users to with different vision needs. Our pair of Bushnell's do this. Hope that helps a bit? I'll ask Dh when he gets home if he has any good tips and I'll pass them along to you :)
Have a wonderful day,
Rosina

The first day I picked for counting all the birds decided to hide. Seriously, there wasn't a bird in the air or in the tangle of leaf-bare branches surrounding our house. They do this to me every year. Yesterday I did spot a red-tail hawk in one of our trees, which could explain the lack of other sightings. :o)

Happy birding!
Peace and Laughter!
