The public library has always been an important resource for home schooling families. Some libraries recognize this with special programs and events. The Florence branch of the Omaha Public Libraries has weekly home school story times every Monday and upcoming education open house to which home schoolers are invited to attend:
Home School Story Time
Omaha Public Library's Florence Branch has weekly homeschool story times every Monday from 1:30-2:30, except in May and August.
Open House for Educators
Area preschool, elementary, secondary teachers and homeschool parents are invited to the library to enjoy a tour and refreshments. Learn what the library has to offer and give us ideas on how we might serve you and your school better. 3:30PM-4:30PM
