Happy and blessed NEW YEAR to ALL!
|
wow...i have been offline for about 11 weeks! i know this because i haven't written since i found out we are expecting again! this pregnancy has been a real rough one, thus far...but Lord willing, i haven't given up on this one...and there have been so many times....at 7 weeks they couldn't find a heartbeat....but then....after putting me on a different ultra sound machine, they found it! it felt like a miracle.
I am just putting each and every day in the hands of the LORD and He will be faithful, no matter what the outcome. bedrest has been hard...but i know it is all worth it.
HAPPY HAPPY and BLESSED new year to all!!!

So good to hear from you. Thank you for the comment on my blog. I am glad to know someone else as crazy about dates as I am!! :) when you have dates, who needs candy!! I eat them with pecans right out of the bag. I haven't had enough to make bars out of them, cause I keep eating them raw first. HA.
I hope you are doing well. I am worried about you and the baby. I have been praying for you and thinking of you all through the holidays. Mine were good. Seems like all that preparation for just a couple of days is sort of silly. I would prefer to drag it all out. I simply cannot eat all that much in one day anyway. My tree is still up, I am not very organized this year. I went to Bangkok for a couple of days. We took the kids to see the Narnia movie. I am not sure if it was worth driving 5 hours to see it but I think the kids sure appreciated it. The next day I did some shopping and must have over did it because on new years, I was sick UGH...
The next day being monday, we had to start school, but by afternoon I was better and made mexican food. yum. I had bought pinto beans (dried) in Bangkok and some whole wheat flour and we made tortillias and beans and slices of steak (YUM) for the rollups and then because it was new years and because I had one last bag of choc. chips left, I made some of those gooey bars. double yum and so MANY calories.... so now it is on to some serious cutting back.... HA!
My daughter called yesterday so that could be the reason for the burst of energy. she is doing fine, though wanting to find friends who are on fire for God. She is at a Christian college, but that does not always mean everyone is dedicated!! Please pray for her if you think of it. She is apt to worry about all that money to go to college as well, so she is looking into other schools where she could get more scholarship. She had a 4.0 on all her subjects this semester, so she is happy about that. Me too!!
Rachel (11) and I have enjoyed the LAF website so much. Thank you for the recomendation!! She was into more boyish clothes and ways because she wants to identify with her brothers so badly. But that site helped her alot to see that It is really important that she is happy with her identity as a woman. She even went out and got some material to have some dresses made that she designed!!
My son is back from India now. If you want to see some photos of that http://goodnewsthailand.mulitply.com
I sure hope you can get as much rest as possible. Love you much! Bless you and your family. Julie
