This book was recommended to me by a friend and I finally got around to requesting it from my library.  They were gracious enough to buy it for me/them, and boy am I glad.  This is a terrific book.  I would like to find 10 moms in my area who would read it immediately so I could talk about it. 

If any of you have read it, please comment or email me.  I have started reading my first classic off the beginning list and I am even more excited!  I chose Laddie, since it is about Indiana.  I thought, hearing that title all these years, that it was about a dog!  Ha!  Not.  This is a terrific book for my daughters and I am enjoying reading it so much.

There is a TJEd website, not started by the author, but still looks worthwhile.  Those of you who yearn to break away from the world's ideas about education (especially if you've read Gatto), would enjoy this book.  Request it intralibrary loan if yours doesn't have it.
