Hey all!  I am moving over to Blogger.  I do not have enough time or brain cells left to figure out the configuration over here and there is a lot more I would like to add to my blog.  So, I checked it out at Blogger and it seemed to be more at my technological level (which is really really remedial).  So, you can check me out over there from now on, at http://underthegrowlight.blogspot.com .

So you are moving! I went over and love the new blog, but can't seem to figure out how to comment.....forgot my google password....oh well!

Thanks for stopping by the other day. I didn't have anything to do with organizing the Civil War Ball, but a group north of us did. Actually, a homeschooling family has been doing it for 5 years and is just passing the baton to a new family who will take it over. It was our first time, and it was a great experience!
You asked some tough questions.....like "at what point did we become "okay" with leaving "the box" and what about your husband"~ I will try to give a quick answer. LOL

I guess part of the "ease" of leaving the box is that I hated being IN the box so badly when I was a kid. I never would want my kids to have to deal with the stuff I did, it wasn't pretty. Most days I am ok with it, and hubby is too. But he's the brains behind this organization. (ie. he does the math lessons, and jumps in with science, electronics, physics....stuff like that.) At any rate, like I said most days I am good, but the doubts will creep in if you let them. My encouragement comes from seeing my kids excited about learning new things, and they can be very zealous about life. That is such a blessing to behold!
We have our ups and downs, but "Love covers a multitude of sins" and I am just running this race with perseverance. I have to rely upon the Lord full time, because I fail much and often, and if I can say we did anything right it was all because of Him!
