My family and networkhomeschool.com

This site is about our family, and the homeschooling site we launched in June 2009:

http://www.networkhomeschool.com

The Google  Map website of Homeschool families - see if anyone lives near you!

Our Family: We are the Hamilton family, based in the South-East of England. We (husband and wife: Peter & Anna) started homeschooling our children from birth. We have two children aged 10 months and 3 years old. We are currently using the Montessori Method to educate our children. Anna is a High School teacher Monday - Tuesday, teaching Drama & Peter works as an Accountant and Web Developer Wednesday - Saturday. This enables him to educate the children Mon and Tues, and Anna does it Wednesday - Friday.

Our Website: Having recently started homeschooling, we wanted to quickly find other homeschooling families by just looking on a map, and be able to communicate with them. Since no free website offers this, we decided to start one ourselves!

We are hoping that this community will grow, and that the free resources section will become full of useful educational resources. If you know of any free resources on the internet that you like to use, please add them in the resources section. We are also planning to add other parts to this website, such as groups.

If you like our site, please recommend it to others and create a link from any web page or blog you have, to our website. We wish you and your family every success at homeschooling, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Best Wishes, Anna
