Apr. 25, 2006 - Pipers First Birthday
I can't believe she is one already! She is such a blessing. I ca't even explain it. I know God has big plans for this tiny thing. We went and had pictures done at Walmart today(I am cheap, cheap, cheap!)She did so good. I will show you 2 picutes I have from before-I have never posted pictures on here, so if they don't show up , let me know....can't figure it out....

Apr. 18, 2006 - Hard day and lots of questions
Wow, today has been tough. I think it may be due to the pollen count(ok, I know that seems odd, but stay with me). Now Logan has tantrums on a fairly regular basis. They seem to get worse when his allergies kick in. So I am going to start logging his attitude and behavior.
I need advice from those who have to log hours. How do you do it? Like, what contitutes a hour of math? science? I feel like I am not doing so great at logging the hours.
Getting the boys excited about school is another area on its own. They moan and complain, but we do get school work done. I just wish I could make school fun for them and get the learing done at the same time. I am on a budget so, I don't have a lot of money to spend on pricey cirriculm. Ideas?
What about schedules? I am having a hard time with this. Any help with this would be great.
They are all in bed and I really need to do some houe work and get ready for Wed. I am giong to work out in the morning.

Apr. 18, 2006 - a bit of me
We started homeschooling January 16 of this year.
We have 4 children. Dawson-7 1/2....Logan-6....Gabi-2 1/2....Piper-1 on 4/25/06.
This adventure has been more than I anticipated it to be. I have my days where I doubt and we have our days that are great. I struggle with decisions about cirriculm and such. I am currently trying to work on the obedience of my children as I recently became aware of how very permissive I have been until now. So you can imagine how very difficult that has been, but without them having the disipline they need, we can't get alot done.
