You're an expressive, offbeat blogger who tends to write about anything and everything.
You tend to set blogging trends, and you're the most likely to write your own meme or survey.
I begin this Blog with the intent to document our triumphs and our trials both in homeschooling and our personal life, but they are so intertwined it might get blurry from time to time!
One thing I want to say UP FRONT is that although I am a Christian homeschooler I will not sugar coat or try to hide the reality of our family life or the struggles we deal with. A lot of people have a problem with that, they find it negative or depressing, I call it being HONEST. So expect to hear it all, the good, bad and the embarrassing.
We are a Christian military family. We have 4 children: The Princess, Tomazo, The Bumblebee, and Baby Piranha (these are aliases people, the world wide web is a dangerous place!)
Our homeschool is named CasaLuce (Lighthouse) which has several meanings for us as a family but mainly pays homage to where we started "oficially" homeschooling. We began homeschooling before we knew we were homeschooling, well before Pre-K. Our two oldest children attended a DOD school The Princess for K&1st and Tomazo for K. There were MANY reasons for pulling them out and beginning to homeschool. The main one being I feel God called me to it and God willing they will never see the inside of a "real classroom" again and our two youngest will never see one EVER (except maybe on a field trip!).
We live in a fabulous area for American History and hope to explore much more in the very near future. Those who know us will get a much better insight into our lives by following this blog, those who don't I hope you find encouragement here, even when the bad days are relayed. I know I take comfort in knowing that other homeschoolers have bad days too!
