When I lived in TN and was part of my church choir we preformed in Pigeon Forge for the Church of God ministers conference. There was a man who played the fiddle, he was AMAZING. For some odd reason the powers that be had the choir go out early, while this man played. We dutifully stood there through three songs which he played beautifully, but then he started playing Awesome God. And the power of God FLOWED through that place, every time I hear this song now I go back to that moment, when I felt like I was in God's lap, closer than I have ever been to the savior. I wish I could find out who he was and get a recording of him playing this song, but this will have to do.
