Being that I know there are loads of homeschoolers who bake their own bread on here I thought I would share about the ministry! Spread the Bread is an organization started on a grassroots level whose mission is to encourage children to practice generosity through service and bread making. Individuals small groups and churches are participating to change the world on loaf of homemade bread at a time.
Participants are encouraged to bake any kind of bread and offer it to others with no thought of reciprocity. Bread recipients are given a homemade loaf of bread and a personal message from the bakers.
