Did you watch the Vice Presidential Debates tonight? I left the room feeling underwhelmed and burdened to PRAY for the upcoming election.
REGARDLESS of who you choose to vote for PLEASE:
1. REGISTER to VOTE (many state deadlines are MONDAY Oct 6th, so GO do it REGISTER TODAY!
2. Spend time in prayer EVERY DAY for God's will to be done.
3. Get out there and VOTE on election day!
Did you know that in ELEVEN states voting has already begun? Absentee ballots are being requested and returned EARLY in RECORD NUMBERS! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider fasting and praying for our country EVERYDAY up to and beyond the election.
Many churches are holding a 40 hour fast for the 3 days before the election. If you can't fast food, think about something you can fast. How about TV? Your IPOD or Cell Phone, or COMPUTER? How about junk food? There is SO much we hold on to that we could fast. PRAY and ask God what HE would have you fast.
I'm so glad to read your post! I, too, during the debate, felt an overwhelming urge to pray for our nation! The gravity of the outcome of this election is so sobering! Thanks for posting!
