While I view SNOW as a four letter word and try desperately to avoid it my family does not hold the same distaste for the fluffy white stuff.
When a fellow homeschooler recently posted that SNOW was one of her reasons for homeschooling I had to agree. While she is further up and inland than I am and they got much more snow than we did the recent "Snow Closure" for public schools did not interefere with our school either.
Why?
DH had taken his mother to Saluda VA to visit with more family. We had already planned the day to be a no school day, and they got to see "real snow."
Had they been home they would have done school as usual afetr making mini snow people from the 1" that fell here.
