Our car arrived last night!!  I have been watching the planes come in and wondering if it was on that one.  We plan to get out and explore a little today and plan to take some pictures. 

The snow and ice are melting!  Chris pointed out that it was melting off shore.  I could only see the ice close to shore, but the snow piles and water seems to be shrinking everyday.  The kids are enjoying all the daylight and are staying up later.   It does take some getting used to.  Everyone asked me in Fairbanks if  I had difficulty with the darkness in winter.  That first year it was all the daylight in summer.  Of cource this will be my first year when the sun does not rise at all for two months. 

We are all fairly well unpacked.  Still a few things to do, but it is starting to fell more like home.  I plan to order from fabric from JoAnns for curtains soon and a microwave.  I am really missing a microwave.  My food orders are starting to get here too.  I got somethings from Alaska Airlines yesterday.  The only problem is that some it is going to my PO Box.  This was only the frozen and frig stuff.  I'm hoping that some soon.  At least now I can drive to the AC store with out taking a cab.
