We took a hike on the Tundra a couple of weeks ago.  We all had a lovely time.

 Chris took the above pics as the kids and I hike.  Aaron  and Rachel really loved to get down and look the grass and flowers.  David loved looking for birds.  He and Chris think they saw a snowy owl, but it was too far away too be sure.

After our walk, we went to see if the ice was going out on the ocean. 

There was still a lot near shore.  There is a lot more open water near the point, now.  Hope that means our barge will be on time this year!  (end of July)
