 April 6, 2008...
Outside my window...
it is a cloudy day that hides most of the beauty outside my window, but the mountains peek out a little and even if I could no see them I know they are there. How true of life that can be sometimes.
I am thinking...
I've got lots to do before we leave on Wednesday morning. That 7AM ferry is going to require a really early morning!
I am thankful for...
that we are taking some time off school. We all really needed a break! I'm also thankful for friends. We have so many people we are looking forward to spending time with on this trip.
From the learning rooms...
We are taking two - three weeks off.
From the kitchen...
I putting up some leftovers for Chris to have while we are gone. I think we will grill this evening when he gets up.
I am wearing...
green long sleeve shirt and black cotton pants
I am going...
to be busy cleaning house, washing clothes and getting stuff together for our trip today. Tomorrow I will run some errands and gather some stuff I need for the trip and them we leave on the ferry Wednesday morning. If all goes according to my plan we should arrive in Wasilla on Friday evening.

that the volcano will be calm and ash well not cause problems when Chris is ready to fly out on the 15th.

the sounds of the kids playing the dishwasher and the tap of the keys on the Mac and the laptop.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
getting ready for our trip and then the ferry ride and driving for a few days. After that spend time with friends. I'm looking forward to Homeschool Convention next weekend!
