Hello my friend,

I trust that you are well in the Lord. This post is very strange because I was unable to write in my blog. So here is my comment about the empty blog. Our God is a very wonderful and loving God. He will always leave a way out for us to escape the trouble we are in.

So here is my way out - Thank You Lord.

Today, I wish to share with you my devotional taken from the lovesingapore booklet. It reminds me that God has given us a helpline. In Jeremiah 33.3, God says, "Call to Me and I will answer you." O Lord, thank You for this helpline and please help us to remember to call to You in our times of need.

The words are taken from the devotional and truly God is telling you, "Call Me, please. I am waiting to hear from you."

So, if you have not been talking to God for a long time, it does not matter, He is still waiting for your call.
If you have been calling Him all the time, He is happy to hear from you again. Think of the way we smile when our beloved spouse or child calls us. Yes, God smiles when He picks up His receiver.
If you think the matter is really too small to trouble Him, please know that nothing is too small for our heavenly Father. He wants to know every detail of your life. He hurts when we hurt, He rejoices with us when we rejoice and He will take vengeance for us when we have been wronged. Oh yes, give thanks to God for who can stand against His almighty power.

Dear friend, CALL to GOD. Don't let the devil trick you. The devil always tells us lies. He will whisper in our ears that nobody cares, that God has forgotten us, that there is no hope and all kinds of rubbish. Reject the lies, the evil whisperings and tell him to CLEAR OFF in the name of Jesus.

Cry out to God in your pain. Our Lord loves you and will reach out to touch and heal. He will bind your wounds and put healing balm on the sore spots. He will breathe His breath of life into you. He will soothe you with His Holy Spirit and give you the peace that only He can give. Dear friend, don't be afraid, CALL to GOD. What are you waiting for? He is standing next to the heavenly telephone, waiting to grab the receiver. Please call Him.

Prayer

Father God, thank You for Your promise that when we call, You will answer. Dear Lord, please forgive us our sins and cleanse us with the blood of Jesus. Help us to know that You are sovereign in our lives, to remember how much You loved us and that You sent Jesus to die for us. When Jesus died, He took our sins away; when He rose, He overcame death and brought us into Your throne room by His righteousness. Thank You Lord for the privilege of walking into Your Presence. Lord, please help those of us who have sunk so low that the pit seems completely dark. Father, hear our last breath as we gasp for help, and let Your light shine into our darkness. Let Your love pierce the fog and lift us up out of the pit. Thank You Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.
