King's Kids

• Apr. 26, 2006 - This is a sad day...

This morning while I was at my library's book sale, I received a call from my husband informing me that my former neighbor and friend(the one who had the strokes on Monday) is brain dead and they are going to unplug his life support.  He was only 66 years old. The saddest part is that he may not have accepted Christ in time. I have known him since I was 5, he was my best friend at that time and he would let me hang around even though I was probably a pest. I was infatuated with him, anything he did, I did, anything he liked, I liked and so on. He taught me to swim and dive. He was a quiet man, I never heard him raise his voice ever! He was a wonderful man, he would give you the shirt off his back. I have so many fond memories of him, he was such a special, special man. The words that I'm writing, cannot even begin to describe what a sweet man he was to me. Every time I needed help, he was there whether it was to help me start my lawn mower, or help me get my car started, one time I accidently locked my son in the car in our driveway, here he came with a special tool used to break car windows. Whatever the situation called for, he was there, he was my hero of sorts and I will miss him greatly! I love you Bill, and I will miss you dearly!
