The Routine Life

Nov. 20, 2006 - Bryce's Bat Lapbook

We spent over 2 weeks on our bat lapbook and does it show, it is bursting at the seems and we had to do two folders with  two extention flaps too! But as we sat down this morning to put it together Bryce totally repeated everything he learned about bats over the past two weeks, it was amazing and I'm happy to say I've also retained tons of info on bats (maybe even more then I ever wanted to know LOL) Below are some pictures of Bryce putting his lapbook together (so you can see the different parts when it's all opened up) and a picture of him with the final lapbook.

You can get a copy of the unit we used by going to www.Handsofachild.com/shop and typing in Bats in the search box.

That is one good-looking Bat lapbook! Thanks for showing us. I need to put a picture of Miles and his Bat book on my blog. He went with an all purple theme and it looks kind of cool. But he usually goes for the fluorescent papers. :-) I'm thankful for HOAC units because of what you said--he really knows his bat facts now and I do too.
