Nov. 21, 2006 - The Review is in.....Happy Feet

I had big expectations for this movie and am totally just sitting here with my jaw in my lap after watching it. I don't think all the hype about the movie helped as I expected a lot from it but it brought very little. Even my aunt who went with us said "hmmm, don't even know how to put into words what I think about it" Totally not the "cute" movie you are expecting (though there are the cute parts) it just went right over my littler ones heads (5,7, and 10) The ten year old got it all I'm sure but if we had not watched March of the Penguins I don't 'know that I would have got all of it...it just was odd the way they did it. Add to that some very odd and not so well chosen lyrics to songs throughout and it just isn't something we'll buy the DVD of when it comes out or even rent so Daddy can see it, just wasn't worth it at all.

Sorry I wish I was posting about how wonderful it was but no such luck
