A thought on Narnia
Narnia is often thought as a parody of the Bible. But in all reallity its not. Lewis was only vaguley considering returning to the church at the time the Narnia books were written. He was only writting what he knew, which turned out to be the truth, only he didnt realize it, narnia portrayed what he knew to be the truth, but he wouldnt accept it. And now to the actual books... The horse and his boy has to be my favorite, although the books with caspian are great. The last battle is a strange and confusing and hypothetical book. In this book we all find someone that we relate to, whether we are firm believers, willing to have faith, but have not made the decision; or have come bakc to the truth, or resist it and end up in hell. It took me a while to understand this book, such ideas are not new to me, but never have presented to me in that way. And now the movies... bbc's are very true the books, they just have bad effects. The new movies have great animation, but they are not quite the books incarnet.
