• May. 11, 2008 - Europe Expedition

Here I am (finally) and I have no clue what to say. This "blogging" stuff is completely new, so I really haven't the slightest idea, whatsoever, what I'm getting myself into. And now I feel like I'm talking to myself... which I guess is normal... in a way... for me. (Somtimes I feel so ridiculously "homeschooled.") But, anyway, I'm going to Europe this week, so perhaps I'll have somthing more interesting to say upon my return. That's all. The End. Good-Bye!

I'm really jealous that you're going to Europe...I've always wanted to go to Italy, Greece, and places like that. But I certainly want to hear all about your trip whilest you are there. You should be able to tell us a lot about Germany.

Well I made a blog but I'm still confused. By the way, you better make sure to take plenty of pics of Europe whilst you're over there.

• May. 21, 2008 - I'm Back!

Posted by Ninwaii
Hi, People!
I'm back. I had such a good time! Everything's sooo incredibly different in Europe, but I liked it that way.
We visited Holland and stayed in an adorable little bed and breakfast on a farm. There were cows in the back, that would come right up to you so that you could pet them, which almost caused a problem, because there was this customs thing you had to fill out when coming back to the states and one of the questions was "Did you touch any livestock?" But luckily they didn't send me back. I mean, how was I supposed to know that I wasn't allowed to pet a foreign cow?!?
Anyway, we also stayed in the walled, Medieval city of Rothenburg, which reminded me a lot of the city of Talc (only bigger). But our hotel was also REALLY old and kind of creepy. It was run by a couple of little old story-book people. "Twas quite... interesting.
I did have a time of distress, though, upon our arrival to the country. Okay, so everyone had been telling me horror stories of pick-pockets and bag snatchers that like to congregate in the busy places of Europe. So we were walking through the Frankfurt airport, trying to figure out some things and get in order. I had my backpack sitting on top of my rollerboard, pulling everything behind me. We had stopped for just a moment for something or another, then we headed down the escalator. Something didn't feel quite right, and when I looked down at my stuff, my bag was gone...

About Me

I think biting your fingernails is a discusting habit! I wish I could stop. This is a place for other imperfect perfectionists to leave a note or two. Or for any homeskoolers out there that would like a sneak-peek into the life of a princess.
