This Years Big Decision

Posted in Family Life

Well the christian school starts next twos-day and it's looking more and more like DS will NOT be attending simply due to finances at this point but for me the mom whose heart is in home education the lack of finances is a blessing in disguise and HIS Way of guiding me through this decision process.

Plus DH is in agreement with me so far that we can't afford it and when he found out with A.C.E. the student practically teaches himself, DH was like so why are we supposed to pay them?!!

We put our 30 day notice in with the landlord on the 1st, where we go from here it's in HIS Hands!

My sister gave birth to 2 girls last week.  One weighed 9 pounds and 2 ounces and she is the one in the NICU not breathing properly.  At blogspot there is more info on the girls.

Last week at this same hospital 2 other sets of twins were born and I know one set had a baby also in NICU and on the 1st a local Rabbi's son's wife had twin boys and one of them was rushed to local children's hospital for complications.  SO many twins and other babies need HIS Healing.  Prayers appreciated.

I'll keep you posted on my sisters babies, the Rabbi's grandsons, and DS's schooling/living arrangments as we know more.

May YHWH bless thee, and keep thee: May YHWH make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: May YHWH lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee Shalom.

Ian -- or an update to a prayer request on the right side

Posted in Family Life
Baby Ian is 7 months old, weighing 10 pounds and 2 ounces, and just one tiny hole in his heart still to close and some artery or vein the doctors would like to see bigger ... so Baruch HaShem and continued prayer coverage for this little guy that I got to hold yesterday.

Here he is with his momma:

Here's my baby holding her baby:

and here's me holding Ian:

And Sukkot Greetings as we take 7 "school" days off and just do Bible reading pertaining to Sukkot, fun read-a-louds and fun Sukkot/Autumn activities.

May YHVH bless thee, and keep thee: May YHVH make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: May YHVH lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee Shalom.

Some Week!

Posted in Family Life
10/8 -- BIL was here for a brief visit, he is a cop in LaFoushe parish now so interesting tales to tell.

10/9 -- got results from horrible managerial accounting test on 10/2.  Did I mention these are open book and open note tests and he makes them very hard cuz as he says he's worried we'll all get A's .... the test are nothing like the problems we work as "homework" ... so frustrating and they are multiple choice and of course each answer's figure can be gotten with the numbers/info in the problem, so that makes it even harder to find any that can be thrown out as wrong. -- Have I mentioned how frustrating these tests are?  well they are...and I don't have class this week, in service or something, but we have a take home test....I've done 14 of the 39 problems...I am not going to wear myself out sitting for 3+ hours straight....so broke it into 3 days to get it done.

10/10 -- went to a going away party for a 3 year old....but found out he will be around this week and we get to babysit him --- YAY!!!  fun fun fun...DS will have someone to play with.

10/11 -- home Church - good as always.  Read thru John chapter 16 and discussed it

verses
2They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
4But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

I asked was this referring to 70 AD and a future, (our day) event?   people brushed me off though .... I know I am thinking grafted in and they are not, but I used to not think grafted in either...until almost 2 years ago whem my eyes were opened....so I can just keep praying that their eyes will be opened as well.

33These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

that is powerful!

10/12 -- went to a home and garden party.  got points for costume/mask/pumpkin/orange and black treat/RSVPing/and asking questions during the presentation....won a few door prizes ... and now need to order something....  thinking pizza stone and a paper towel holder.

10/13 --  HavDalah - so much fun and informative.  covered the flood thru tower of babel....were the animals juvenille's, not full grown in other words?  maybe ....   it was dark in the ark, so did most of the animals hybernate some or all of the time?  maybe ... fascinating and during the babel incident, it was not so much one speaking language but one thought and not obeying the go into the earth and replenish it that HE said was not good....again interesting....and Terach (delay/tarry/to settle)  may have been told to leave UR and go to Canaan but stopped in/founded Haran ... and first time we hear of a father living longer than a son....what happened?   so interesting!  also only 70 original people groups as in chapter 10 ... and we all have 16 great grand fathers or something like that...again interesting

10/14 --  found out that we will for sure be watching the 3 year old this week -- YAY!   had my sister and her DH over for dinner and he re-caulked around the tub - very much needed.  also went to Intro to Jewish Roots at 11am.  Discussed Ephesians 2:11-22

14For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
 15Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

It's the english thinking that we need a subject that causes the problem....verse 14 clearly states the problem is the wall of seperation and if you can see a picture of the temple there was such a thing as the court of the gentiles...they couldn't get any closer...but now because of the commandments and very much thanks to Yeshua, we too can come near.  Also notice the italicized words, when you see that, those are words not contained in the original greek/aramaic, but have been added in to make the english translation make sense, again for us who need a subject to have something done to it or be doing something.

I  AM   or I be doing what I be doing .... HE is all about doing something....HE is not just sitting up there "chilling" .... man I love that!

Forgive me if I am  ~ I really believed DS would have some siblingS by now.

T.R.E.K. in December

Posted in Family Life

Dandelion seeds posted something very thought provoking and I am working it out here as I have a 5 year old and don't want to get any "glazed" over eye looks.

So on my to do list:

Tell my son :

why he is homeschooled - Because we take seriously the command the Lord has given us in raising him up in the admonition of the Lord Ephesians 6:4

why I want to stay home with him instead of making lots of money that could buy material possessions -because he is worth so much more than dollars!

Why being his mom means so much to me - because he is a precious treasure the Lord has entrusted me with.

What I hope for his future- to obey Jesus in everything.

What I want him to know more than anything else- I love him but that Jesus loves him more.

What I want him to remember if I were no longer here physically - (I really liked what Dandelion Seeds said but I would have to personalize it for my only child) I know he would be sad, but that  Jesus would be keeping me safe and would want him to love and take care of his dad.  I also want to tell him that even though I never want to leave him, the Lord already knows when I will die and that He knows best.  ("All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."  Psalm 139:13)

also on my to do list is to type up somethine I wrote in a lil'chub notebook on goals and why - rather long and maybe I can edit and make it flow better.

About Me

Charlotte Mason style Home Education Journey with One Dear Son who is praying to be a big brother and soon!

"He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD."-Psalm 113:9

"And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children." Isaiah 54:13

"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." --III John verse 4

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. ---Proverbs 4:7

And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD. --I Samuel 2:21

Praise be to YHVH who is weekly bringing those who hunger and thirst for the whole WORD, not just what the church says is important....did you know the first century and then some Believers knew that accepting the Messiah meant being grafted in to the Hebrew faith? They didn't want to be called gentiles. Paul was always trying to show the physical and non-physical Jews that they were all Jews spiritually. He many times said the law is not void and I know those of you out there who say you are saved live by the 10 commandments and of course the summary of Messiah's own words to love YHVH and then our neighbor....both just ways of summing up all of Torah which really just expounds on the TEN. It wasn't until those in authority started saying any caught Judaizing will be put to death that we stopped observing the true Sabbath and stopped keeping the Feasts and started saying things like the NLT says in Ephesians 2:15 that the Jewish law/system has been done away with...that's misleading. The only thing done away with was the animal sacrifice needed to cover sins. Yeshua doesn't just cover them, HE forgives them. What a truly AWESOME YHVH we serve!!! I pray everyone's ears and eyes would be opened to desire to know and seek out the whole TRUTH and not just blindly follow church leaders.

Praise Report:

thankful to have a DH and a DS. my guys!!

Back when I watched my cousins 4th child- Roger - I didn't think I was all that nice to him. But he's seen my and DS's picture at Nanna's and he says "that boy would not share his toys and his mommy told him that is not nice. I like his mommy she was very nice to me"

Prayer:

Unsaved loved ones to find/or to turn back to Yeshua. For Yeshua to reveal to them the truth of Hebrew Roots so we can be in one accord. See I Corinthians 1:10

and if it's not too much to ask...I've had to endure hearing about several pregnancy announcements and birth announcements recently. I feel like I am dying inside. The pain is enormous. I really just want more children and HIS Word says they are the best type of physical blessing. I am not asking for riches or material things. I know all HE has to do is think/speak my body into being a "baby making machine" and it would be done. Praying for a miracle.
