Secret Sister Exchange

I wanted to start out this blog with my desire to do a secret sister exchange with some other homeschool moms. I saw some other blogs that do that once a month and I thought that would be neat. If your interested just reply to my blog and I will write you in the next week if the baby does not come by then. My daughter went to the doctor today and her fluid is getting low so they put the baby on a monitor to see how she was handling it and she seemed fine. She has a doctor appt. tommorrow and we will see what her regular doctor will say that needs to be done. Last time her fluid got low  they induced her. The big day seems to be finally here. I have been thinking about what curriculum to use next year. I am quite sure that we are going to do the Anne of Green Gables unit study but I just want to make sure that is the way we should go. Have any of you used that unit study? We have not really had a good year this year in school so Im looking forward to making next year better. I think some of it has to do with her becoming a teenager and wanting to do other things especially the computer. We will be making some changes in that area. I am dreaming about a pond for my backyard this spring  and hoping to make that dream come true since I have wanted one for about five years. I looked at one at Home Depot yesterday and really liked it but I would like to look around some more. To get a nice one and landscape it will probably cost about $500. You cant do anything today without it costing you an arm an a leg. Well better end this up so I can look at some other blogs, have a great week!

About Me

This is just a little glimpse into my life. I am a homeschooling mama to my youngest daughter, Stephanie, who is 12. I also homeschooled my middle daughter, Kimberly, throughout her jr high and high years. She is now 22. My oldest daughter, Christy, is almost 26 and is married and has a daughter of her own now. Paisley is my first grandchild and she is two years old. I have been married to my husband, Bill, for nearly 29 years now. I am a follower of Christ and I love to camp, scrapbook, and I'm an avid reader.
