Works for Me: Bathroom Storage/Organization

OK, go easy on me.  This is my 1st WFMW entry.  I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Wednesday blogs for the past several months, but have never joined the ranks.  I thought I might jump in since I had a little extra time this morning.

We went to a system of small, shoebox size plastic storage bins under our bathroom sink last year when my Mom moved in with us temporarily.  We gave her the second bathroom and the kids "moved in" with us.  To organize that amount of stuff in such a small space, I purchased small totes for each of us and labeled them with a label maker.

This made it a lot easier to find things, plus when Mom moved out, it took 2 seconds to move the kids' belongings back to their bathroom.  When we have company stay at our house, the drawers are already empty so they have a place for their toiletry items.  We are now getting ready to sell our house and it makes the bathroom look so much tidier for potential buyers!

On the other side of the sink, I have 2 additional totes that can't be seen in this picture.  One is a first aid kit and the other is cold medicines, sore throat lozenges, etc... as long as they have child proof  packaging.  It's what works for me!
