Dec. 12, 2009 - Christmas and Stuff

I am soooooooo excited for Christmas this year!!!!!  I actually get to spend Christmas at my house this year:-).  I havn't spent Christmas at my house for like 7 years.  I usually go to my Grandma's house.  And the  time before that was like 11 years ago:-O.  This is going to be ASESOME!!!!  Christmas time is my Favorite time of the year.  With snow (which I don't get much of), all the lights on peoples houses, and spending time with family.  But the only bad thing is that  I have to do school up to the 23 of December!  But I atleast get the next 2 weeks off:-).  My brother is practically obsessed with LEGO.  He knows the price of ever Power Miner set that was made!!!  So I know that I am not getting him those, well I have to go. Dec. 11, 2009 - Things Lately

So recently I have been doing my usual, swimming, school, and just hanging out.  I have had a couple swim meets recently, and one coming up real soon.  At my next meet I get to swim the mile.  Ok, so maybe its only 1650 yards, but its as close as they could get to a mile.  I hope to do really well in it.  I am going for a sectional or AAA cut.  They  are really hard to get, but the long distance events are my best.  For me making sectionals would be amazing.  For us the way these meets work is, there are your normal meets that don't have cut times, or if they do they aren't very fast.  Then the next meet is champs.  After that comes zones.  In order to go to zones you have to get a AAA time.  Then comes sectionals.  After that you go on to  Junior Nationals, Nationals, U.S. Open, Olymip Trial, Olympics,  and so on.  Aside swimming, I do school.  Well school is school, long, hard, and takes up about 50% of your day.  At least 50% of your day you spend awake.  And hanging out, well I am normally watching TV, playing outside, on the computer, listening to music, or swimming.  For the music part I usually listen to Relient K.  They are a really good band.  They play Alternitive Rock.  But I still like it.  I just got their CD called MMHM.  It's a really good CD.  Right now I am actually listing to their song College Kids.  It's a good song.  Well I have to go.

Dec. 5, 2009 - Long time.

Hey guys it's been awhile, I don't even remember how all this works haha. Anyways that isn't the point. I thought i would let everyone know what has been going on with me lately.

Lets see where to start... um... well first off I graduated in April!!! I have already started college and i am enrolled in the Fireman/EMT training i am about to finish my first quarter and get all the core classes out of the way. Then in Jan. I start my fireman training.

Also I bought a brand new car 3 months ago and have already paid it off!!!! Which means i got rid of my red truck that was falling apart  but hey it was free lol.

Lets see what else... I was in 3 bands, but i slowly worked down to just playing in  the one at my church so that is cool. We finally have a building for our church. Me and my dad built one, it cost to much to rent a place.

I guess the last thing that happened to me in a year is I started dating a wonderful girl named Rachel , you guys know her as babyrach91. I met her years ago then we got back to talking 2-3 years back. Now i go to school with her. So all and all i would say it has been a great year!

I will try to be on more guys so just message or comment and i  will do my best to reply.

Later guys

Nov. 13, 2009 - HSB

Well I was on Supersonic's blog and then saw some of his friends, and decided to check out some of their blogs. I saw POTCgirls, and Shootingstars, and Catcher818, or something i don't remember (don't hate me, its been too long...) My faves =) I remember her sister, Nicole...the Yankee fan.....I dont remember her HSB name. Anyway I don't really like HSB that much b/c:

1. You never know when someone has commented on your blog or you have commented on something and someone else have responded to you. Unless of course you check your e-mail, which is really annoying.

2. It does not have chat. You can only chat unless you add it yourself.

3. No one that I know actually has one.

Nuff' said. Go Facebook.

Oct. 3, 2009 - Swimming Lately

Sorry that I haven't made an entry lately, but I haven't had any time with swimming and school.  I moved into the next group in  swimming, and have had tons of fun in it.  Actually, this weekend I have a swim meet.  Last night I had the 500 Freestyle, and the 400 I.M..  In My 500 Free I added from my best time but it is only the first meet, so I'm not at my peak performance yet.  In my 400 I.M. I missed my "A" time by only 7 seconds.  Today I am swimming the 100 Butterfly, 200 Freestyle, 100 Breastroke, and the 200 Backsroke.  So wish me luck.  I will try to keep everyone posted on how I do when I get the chance.  Well I have to go now. Ttyl.

Oct. 2, 2009 - A Hit That Changed History

On September 11, 2009, while most of the country was remembering a tragedy, history was being made in Yankee Stadium. In the third inning of a game against the Orioles, with the bases empty, and no outs, 35 year old shortstop  Derek Jeter drove a ball past first baseman, Luke Scott, to start the inning. To the average person it looked like a normal hit, but everyone in the stadium knew history had just been changed before their eyes. Before that at-bat, Jeter had been riding on 2,721 career hits, tied with the Yankees’ legendary first baseman, Lou Gehrig. Afterwards, he had achieved something no other player on his team ever had. The crowd went wild, a crowd which had waited through an hour long delay, and steady rain throughout the game. His team surrounded him at first base, while his name resounded through the stadium. Cameras flashed and fans cheered. The scoreboard read “Congratulations Derek! 2722” Though the Yankees went on to lose the game, 10-4; the stadium was filled with an air of celebration.

The Yankees also clinched the AL East!!!

Sep. 29, 2009 - Blah

New entry time!
Wow, it has been so long! I can't say that a whole lot has happened, except this September I went to an absolutely amazing church conference in Morningstar and I've come back a changed person. If you don't want to read this whole thing, scan it and read the underlined part, Kay? =)

So, before I went to Morningstar, I was really working through some stuff in my life. I knew I needed to run after God, with all my heart, and I thought I wasn't doing a good enough job doing that. But at the AMAZING Morningstar conference I went to, I kind of changed my view.
Sure, there is nothing wrong with running after God. I wanted to run into God's open arms, and then I figured something out. I'm already there.
And now, here's what I got to do. I can't get comfortable. You wonder what I mean, right? Well, I know a lot of people who are comfortable with the way their lives are now, and that's cool, but I beg to differ. I don't want to be comfortable just piddling around, reading the Bible from time to time, and bumbling through life, waiting for things to happen. I want to keep going...
When you love a person you want to know everything about them, right? You want to know their favorite band. Their schedule. Their deepest secrets.
So, since I love God, I should be striving to know these things about Him. Hence my phrase, "Don't get Comfortable". I'm not going to get comfortable just hanging out with God. I want to know everything I can. I want to live for him.
As you can tell, I had a lot of time on my hands while I was gone and I enjoyed every minute of it. I miss Morningstar already. But I can't let people feed me everything. I have to learn about God for myself. And I love Him...Man, I love Him.
Some people may beg to differ with me. They may think I'm too radical.
Radical...Hmm...This is the word I crave to be. I absolutely want to burn for God. While I was gone, I experienced him in ways I never have before. I danced until I lost circulation in my legs-I'm still sore. I cried. God absolutely and completely took my breath away.
Do you want to be in the place where I am now? Maybe you already are. It has nothing to do with me and my "Holiness" or whatever. But if you're reading this now and you're tired of ancient religion, and you're ready to become radical in the love of God then message me. Ask me anything. You can even beg to differ with me. Just tell me what you think.
Because, it's not a matter of "Religion". God isn't religion. God is love. God is...wow, there aren't enough adjectives in the entire universe in any language to describe Him. He blows me away.
