Saturday

Our Saturdays are just lovely now, since we don't have to do any running around. It has a more leisurely feel. Our day started with some kids from around the corner coming over and wanting to play. This was 9.30am and we were not all dressed, so we sent them away. We really didn't feel like company and Hubby told them that our kids had chores to do. So we did our chores, then lazed around. Hubby had to get all his paperwork organised so he can get his tax done this week.  His cousin is an accountant and does a great job, especially now that Hubby has a little registered business as well. I went out with the girls this afternoon and saw "Mama Mia", then went for coffee afterwards. I took our little man, and he was so good, never made a peep through the movie. I thought the movie was a bit silly at the beginning, but it grows on you and by the end I was hooked. I wont be buying the soundtrack, thats for sure. They really didn't sing the best, but during the movie it didn't matter. My favourite part was when they were singing Dancing Queen. They are singing it through the streets and as they pass houses all the women take off their aprons and go outside and join in the singing and dancing procession. The scenery was amazing. I never made it as far as Greece in my travels unfortunately. I can't remember much of the stage show when we saw it, to compare, but I do remember there was an outside cafe in the stage show but not the movie. I think????

Poultry

Hi Kym, Thanks for the comment and question. All of my poultrylive together happily. I am in the process of building a new pen so the turkeys are on their own. This is mostly because they are getting ready to mate so I would like the mother turkey to have some room to raise her babies away from the other birds.
