Buying a freezer

Big W has freezers this week 80lt for $170 something . I am considering a purchase. It stress s' me the amount spent on meat. This freezer would allow me to buy a bulk amount that should last for months and months. While a couple of vegie meals a week is great, the males of the family think they are hard done buy if there is no meat in the house. I was making a vegetable only meal the other week. and explaining to Hubby that we need to have a couple of dinners like this a week to cut back on spending. He just stood there looking at me funny, so DS 6  sitting at the bench, pipped up and said  " DAD,,,,, MORTGAGE, MORTGAGE, MORTGAGE."  I tell you, it was straight out of a comercial.  Not sure were it came from, but it was so funny.

LOL! My hubby is the same about meat, almost can't go a meal without it.
Whenever I have cooked vegetarian he always says it would be better if it has meat in it!

meat

I could picture the look on his face Kym. It was so funny! Hubby is exactly ths same. Ds11 came into the kitchen as I was telling ds14 we were having sausages, veges and gravy tonight and whined "veges and gravy...is that all?" I told him "yes, we're going vegetarian tonight." You should have seen the look on his face! Oh...you gotta love our men and their stomachs.
Margy.
