Birds
| I am such a bird fancier. I always have been. I think it's Mums fault, she had about 30 types of birds come and feed from her feeders. Many a time I can sit and just look through my bird books, especially when I see one I have never seen before. I can almost always remember where I saw the first type of a new bird. Lately in the morning I listen to the sounds of black cockatoos, swamp pheasants, storm birds as well as the normal magpies, butcherbirds, lorikeets and micky birds etc. I love Australian birds so much and I think we have a varied and unique abundance of them. One day I hope we travel around Australia, my books will go with us as I learn about so many more that we see along the way. |
